Outstanding
Continues to be a wonderful series, well worth reading. Plenty of twist and turns along the way that will keep you invested in the Ghost’s future.

Sabbat Martyr is a damn good book!
Sabbat Martyr closes up "The Saint" arc in the Gaunt's Ghosts books with undeniable power and grace! The story is as strong as they have come in the series while the emphasis on city fighting make this a real page turner. Several loose ends are tied up while a few new threads open up. A fitting climax in the series to this point, Warhammer 40k/military Sci-fi does not get any better!

Great story, but read the whole series to really elevate story!
A great end to the Herodor arc of Gaunt's Ghosts! The emperor protects and we see the culmination of the three previous books omens and portents. Again, this is supposed to be 'grimdark' so even with all the successes and great things, the heroes still have to pay for that success.

Great Series
the whole war hammer series is great reading and very faced filled about a future war that could be possible.

Awesome!
Another exhilarating installment of the best Warhammer 40k series by the best author Black Library has!

One of the greatest and saddest endings of any story.
A solid work. A fantastic story. Abnett out does himself yet again. Never ceases to amaze. Combat was wonderful. Characters were as good as ever. Abnetts Gaunts Ghosts series never fails and never let's up. One of the greatest series to binge. Almost impossible to put these books down. Here's to you Dan Abnett!

who needs sleep?
Another great read. The previous book left cliffhangers and this one hooked me in hard trying to get resolution. Then the anticipation turned into fear, excitement, and dread at what may or may not come. Mysteries, heroics, betrayal, victory and loss.

Each book is self contained and excellent in their own right
No let up in pace or lack of new ideas as the series continues. Each book is self contained and excellent in their own right. Although some characters appear in more than one book enough die that have been built up and filled out to mean the reader never can allow themselves to think that at some cliff hanger situation they know all will be well because Dan Abnett wont sacrifice character X or Y because he may and has.

A great book, a better series.
The Gaunt's Ghosts series is, in short, incredible. Sabbat Martyr is one of my favourites of the series, simultaneously a victory and a defeat, it's a worthwhile, bittersweet read.

Excellent Stuff.
Brilliant story with the grimmest of happy endings. Can't wait to find out what is next for Gaunt and the remainder of the Ghosts.

The Gift That Keeps on Giving
Quite possibly the best in the series yet and a culmination to many story lines. Action packed from start to finish.
