Q: What is the length of the black strap and what is the opening of the front steel hook

Thanks for your questions about our tie down. The soft loop (short end) of webbing is 13 3/4 inch (350mm) when the hook is folded back and attached to the soft loop. The long end of the webbing is 7ft 10in (2.1 metre). The opening of the carabiner is 0.68 inch (17.2mm). I hope this helps. Feel free to clarify anything else about our tie down. Q: How long of the strap would this be if I make it "endless" by removing short strap from the bolt and replacing it with long side?

Hi, if you removed the short strap at the bolt and replaced it with the long piece, the webbing length would be approx 74 inches. You would need to cut the end off the long piece to get it back out of the ratchet spindle though as we sew a small flap on the end to keep the tie down as one complete piece. Hope this help.
