The tubes are all PETG. They just included those other polymer types in the title to game search results and show up their product when someone searches for acrylic or polycarbonate tubing.

Q: Can these be cut down to a shorter size? What type of tool would be needed?

We did not need to cut them, so I am not sure if it can

This is polycarbonate,I've used them for 2 years,no issues,and seem to clean easier than the acrylic ones I used for years.
