Too slick to grip
When we first get one of these ramps (we've ordered 3 or 4 now), it's too slick for our chihuahua to walk up. He has to get a running start to make it to the top. After a while his nails wear it in and it works okay then.Other than that, we love this ramp. We've got one for the couch and one for the bed, and gave one to my mom for her dog.

Didn't work for me
My dog is 60lbs. Cloth ripped first use. Probably better for a small dog. Seems sturdy.

Works well as a preventative measure for agile dogs
Pros: Attractive real wood in a rich chocolate color, light and easy to maneuver. Dogs easily climb and descend. Takes up little space. Inexpensive. I found that ramps run higher in price than stairs.Cons: Fabric is suede like and smooth. No grip at all. It takes up little space because it is so steep (a problem for dogs who move slow). Ramp slips on hardwood floor. There is a 3" gap between top of ramp and my bed. Doesn't bother my dogs, but I can see this being a problem for some.Ramps are easier on joints than stairs. My two chihuahuas live in my bed and I wanted to alleviate joint stress from them jumping up and down.Gizmo has a luxating patella (knee cap that moves in and out if place.) It's a condition that worsens over time. Although Gizmo and Rocket are both in good health otherwise, I wanted a preventive measure to ease their joint stress. They both accepted the ramp quickly. I trained with treats. For them to navigate successfully they must quickly climb and descend by running. I was concerned about them hitting the floor too hard when descending so I purchased a cushioned mat. The kind of mat used for people who stand along time to avoid fatigue. It grips the floor well and gives them a soft landing. It also works to keep the ramp from slipping. I bought on Amazon for $27. A worthwhile purchase to use in conjunction with this ramp on floors other than carpet.I would say this ramp is best used as a preventative measure against joint stress. Best for medium to small, agile dogs.Although this has been a good solution for my dogs I gave it three stars for the cons I listed. Unfortunately, this won't work for many dogs.

Looks nice but kind of steep.
This looks nice and works pretty well but the material already has holes in it from my dogs nails and it is kind of steep for them to climb up. It also has a gap between the end of the ramp and the bed so not ideal for little dogs. I really like the wood look though.

Parece fuerte pero mis perros se asustan porque se mueve un poco
Yo personalmente voy a tener que ponerle un par de maderas a los lados para darle más fortaleza! Mis perros se asustan un poco pues se mueve cuando la usan

17 y/o cat likes it
Our 17 year old arthritic cat uses this to get onto our high bed. She won't use it going down though. She caught on within a couple of days and it's much better than our regular 4 AM wake up when she comes back from a trip to the litterbox. We've had it since April (August now) and it has held up to her gripping with her claws some so far. We've had this ramp for a few months now and the spring and peg that is supposed to hold the legs up came out and it keeps collapsing now. Luckily not when our cat has been on it, but when I've barely bumped it walking past the side of the bed.

Steep, slippery, narrow
This is much too steep for my 16 yr old puggle. The material is very slick and even with some adjustments she still almost falls off the edge as it’s not very wide. Our chihuahua and mix breed use it fine. Even though they don’t really need it 😂

A good option for some...
This is very nice looking and the neutral tones would compliment a lot of interiors (unlike other affordable options), but I think the ramp itself is a little too steep for our older, long-bodied/short-legged, and slightly thicc dog. We’re still working with him but he’s only used it when we’ve thrown a favorite toy over it to the couch for him to chase so he’s had a running start. He’s older so who knows how much longer he’ll be able to do the running start. If this is just for a very small dog who can’t reach the couch or that shouldn’t jump high like a dachshund, I’m sure it would be fine, but that incline is definitely something to consider. This is very sturdy when locked in place, but notice in the photos that there is a gap between the ramp and the furniture, this has actually not been a problem for us but may be for another pet.It is definitely too short for most beds, but the exact height of our couch.

Instable

Sturdy and cushioned
Will be a great product for a less timid dog. Our dachshund said it was a bit too steep for his delicate spine, unfortunately. Good, sturdy product with a cushioned ramp, perfect height for the sofa we were using it at. Would buy for a different dog, our 13 yr old cat thought it was nifty but she can still jump.

Perfect
Our little 5 lb Pomchi uses it to go up and down to get on the bed. It is very sturdy, we had to put a non slip mat under it, as we have laminate flooring. There is a gap at the top between the frame and the fabric ramp, for most dogs would be no problem but because our dog is so little, she could almost fall thru it, so we used a small pillow and stuffed it in and then under our mattress, and it works perfectly. She even sometimes just sleeps on that pillow at the top. The fabric looks and feels great, but it is almost to smooth, she has to use speed to get up and is cautious coming down, but she is only 5 months old and will get used to it. But over all it looks excellent, well manufactured and suits the purpose we purchased it for.

Material is kinda slippery, freaks our pup out a bit.
Material is cosmetic, not great traction
