Ergonomic Kneeling Posture Office Chair

I work at a computer all day and have since developed coccydynia (aka trauma to the tailbone) just from sitting in the chairs. I suffer through 8 hours at work but have no troubles in the car or at home. Strange. I researched the kneeling chair as a possible alternative to beg for at work. I wanted to try one out before I had them purchase an expensive one. I have my eye on one that costs over 1k. This chair took about 15 min to put together. The kneeling position is great as it takes me off of my tailbone. The chair is sturdy. The cushion is firm yet not hard. Then there are the evil knee pads... no matter how high or low I put the seat the knee pads killed my shins. The angle is not adjustable and my height (5'4") did not allow for even my toes to hit the floor so basically my feet dangle with all of the pressure on my shins. I tried adjusting my position forward and back on the seat with no luck. It would be great if the knee pads could tilt slightly. Everyone is shaped and sized differently but I knew that for an experiment and what I wanted to spend I had to be open minded. I plan to find or make some type of shim to put under the knee pads to get the tilt I need for comfort. The chair is a good option for the price but would be better if it were able to be more conforming to human differences.

Love it. A pain to put together but worth it

Very comfortable, well constructed; and just what I needed to maintain good posture.
