Warm and functional. The design is pretty, and it's very comfortable.

I love this coat. Reviews about sizing were so mixed - some too small, some too big and some said true to size; so many different opinions was confusing. I usually wear a XS or S, so I ordered the S. I could zip it and close the snaps with no problem, but it felt a little confining, so I agree with another reviewer that the fit was so true to size that I probably couldn't wear a heavy sweater or layers and be able to zip it and snap it without difficulty. I am short so the coat is longer on me, hitting right above my knees but that is fine. I did return it for a M and the fit is perfect. There is enough room to wear heavier winter clothing, but it isn't too big or bulky. The arm and coat lengths seemed to be the same on both the S and M. The difference in the two sizes appears to be the coat's overall body width. I haven't had any problems at all with feathers shedding as some reviewers complained about. It keeps me very warm and the nylon outer shell does repel water. I recently was out running errands most of the day and it rained all day. The coat stayed pretty dry. My only recommendation would be to go up one size to ensure it fits comfortably over heavier winter clothing. I hope this helps anyone considering this coat. I am 100% satisfied and it is well worth the price.

I have never ordered a coat online, and last year I moved to CT after living in GA for 5 years, and prior to that I lived in NYC. After no winters in a long time to the winters of last year I started thinking I need a new coat. I am usually a large, but I have wide shoulders and a large bust and I was thinking I would probably be wearing sweaters underneath it so I sized up. The coat is light, and truthfully I have not owned a down coat in many years. What the pictures do not show you is there is an inner liner (not the right word) that is like a vest built into the coat. It comes down to your waist area, and makes the chest area of this coat double lined. I wasn't expecting that and I actually like it a lot, because it provides warmth in the chest area without making the coat bulky in the hip area, if that makes any sense. It isn't binding in the shoulders, and is a rather comfortable fit.

I got this for a great price $69.99 so I am keeping it. It is warm enough for me and it's been pretty cold here since I got it. So, the pro is that it is warm and not overly bulky. It covers your butt so it's better than a jacket. I do not like that the collar does not fold down so I feel like something is always too close to my face and ears. It's a little smothering even when the hood is down as pictured. The seconf thing I dislike is that it is somewhat fitted but flares way too much at the hips so the silhouette is kind of that of a bell rather than an hourglass. On the other hand, the chest area is tight and so someone with a lot on top might feel constrained. The pockets are concealed and that is nice but they zip and that is a pain. Finally, the right sleeve on mine is sewn improperly at the inner side of the wrist so the hem is not even. I would side it is defective but this is the second Larry Levine coat I have purchased, the first being a totally different style of coat. The other coat also has imperfections at the wrists. In any case, I am keeping this because it was a reasonable price to keep warm.UPDATE - I wish I could have returned this but I didn't have time to shop and could not be without a warm coat for even a day this winter. Feathers everywhere! All my clothes were covered in tiny feathers from December through March! Now, I am stuck with it so I'll keep it for sledding gear and stuff like that. I'll get a new one for every day.

I think this coat was made in China in fact I know it was. I bought the X-large hoping to have some room to move in both the shoulders and the hips. I also wanted extra room in the sleeves and underarms. No such luck. This coat was so tight I had a difficult time getting it off. I normally wear a medium to large in some items but this coat was way off the charts. I am returning it. This is a nice option but I need the coat now. If you are small or petite I would recommend but not if you are normal size or expect some moving room.

This coat fits perfect and is very well made. I read about feathers poking out on previous reviews but did not find that to be the case with the beautiful coat I got. The color is a darker blue than shows online but I love that more; it is a true midnight blue. The hood fits well but not too tight and I love the fact it is snaps instead of buttons on this coat. Well made, fits perfect, length is right above my knee. I am 5'4" and weigh 105 and I got a small. I will purchase another if I can get a black or dark brown.I now have all three colors. This is the perfect fall and winter coat.

I liked the black color and shape of this coat. It fits all right with enough room to wear sweaters or layers underneath. I found that a couple of feathers were on my black sweater after I tried it on but not too bad yet as other reviewers mentioned. I'll be careful not to wear dark color of layers underneath when I wear this coat. It seems that this coat is made well for the price.

Finally, an absolutely beautiful coat and perfect fit!! I wear an XS and have ordered and returned at least a dozen coat's, with this one sitting in my "save for later " spot the entire time, so indecisive about it but that actually worked out because the price dropped to 36 bucks and some change,, what a great price for such a quality coat! So happy that I finally ordered it. I see no feather's, this coat is very well made and Very Flattering!! Happy, Happy!!

Nice coat only issues inside zipper is not long and pockets are not down or felt insulated just regular lining. So tore easily
