But will she let her walls down enough for him to get to know her.I love this series because of all the fascinating archaeological sites they visit. I really wanted to be an archaeologist and love learning about new discoveries. This particular book involves underwater archaeology. I have never dived or anything but I find the idea of underwater archaeology to be fascinating.Zach was fun, charming, and extremely smart. His past is filled with pain but he used that to push himself to be a better person and pursue his passion. He respected Morgan and her abilities from the beginning and never tries to put her down. I loved that about him. I have been curious about Morgan since the beginning, since she was this tough woman who made it through Navy SEAL training. I quite enjoyed seeing these two get to know each other, and fall in love.Things are definitely heating up with Silk Road. I can’t wait to see THS and the FBI work together to bring down Silk Road, especially the interactions between Darcy and her favorite FBI agent.

Yessss. Back to the crazy shenanigans the Treasure Hunter Security crew unfailingly find themselves in the middle of because treasure hunting is a cutthroat business. Literally, at times. I mean, when bad guys are popping up unexpectedly and crazed masterminds are on the loose, anything is possible, right?In other words, Zach and Morgan are in for one wild ride. Because there's a sllllliiiight possibility Zach's shipwreck might contain a little something besides glimpses of the past and gold and jewels. There might be something of the variety that those Silk Road baddies want to get their hands on.And Silk Road doesn't pull their punches, if you know what I mean.To be fair, Morgan doesn't pull hers, either. She might be a little squirrelly when it comes to relationshippy stuff, but she's a focused badass when it comes to defending the people she's hired to protect. And if she happens to fall for the distracting, brilliant Dr. James, so be it.On his end, Zach is fascinated by Morgan's deadly beauty. He trusts her to have his back and he's smart enough to keep working toward something even when given the cold shoulder.Yeah, these two were fun. Throw in the rest of the THS crew (those guys are still a hoot!), a dangerous temple in the middle of nowhere (giant ANYTHINGS are terrifying, man!), and some sexy times beneath the stars (or in the water or WHEREVER!) and you've got a recipe for excitement.Excitement and sunken treasure. Treasure Hunter Security is back with Unfathomed and the hunt for sunken treasure is on the horizon. Morgan Kincaid uses her skills of charm and subterfuge as she proves to Dr. Zachariah James that Treasure Hunter Security is the best firm for the job. Flirting with Zach is just a part of the job; distract him whilst she swaps canapés for a large emerald treasure recover on his last expedition. So smoothly done that it takes several minutes for him to realise that it has the emerald is missing. Zach needs the best team for security because the treasure he is diving for on this expedition is legendary with the prize being a jewel believed to be able to control the minds of others. Morgan is sceptical of the myth of the jewel, but she can't deny the excitement of diving for sunken treasure or the attraction of the man in charge of the expedition. Danger lies below the waves as well as on board. Someone wants the jewel for themselves and has no problem killing to get to it.

Series: Treasure Hunter Security #4--What’s Going On--Archaeologist Dr. Zack James hires Morgan Kincaid and Treasure Hunter Security to provide protection on his underwater expedition for a lost shipwreck.--What are the Issues--Morgan is used to intimidating men with her strength, confidence, and skills and she doesn't trust that Zack will be any different. She also believes that he's nothing but an adventurer and once he's done with her he'll move on to more exciting things.--What I Liked--I've always loved treasure hunter books so this series by Anna Hackett has been really enjoyable for me. This particular book has the added bonus of being underwater treasure hunting and shipwrecks which is one of my personal favorites even though I'm not really into diving myself. I loved Zack and his fun, charming, and easy going personality. He respected Morgan's strength from the very beginning and never doubted what she could do or put her down for that strength which was wonderful to read. I've been curious about Morgan since Undiscovered, as she's this really tough woman who passed the SEAL training and has this wicked scar on her face. So it was nice to have her story and get to see a little bit about her past and who she was under the surface. I like the mythology of the shipwreck and we got a little deeper into the mystery of Silk Road as Darcy worked more with her "favorite" FBI agent.--What I Would Have Liked--I would have enjoyed a little more uniqueness from the other Treasure Hunter Security books as I felt like they are starting to fall into a formula. Treasure Hunter Security gets hired by someone looking for some mysterious artifact, they go out into the field, the two characters fall in love, they have a run-in with silk Road. Then they find whatever they're looking for and there's some type of mysterious creature, possibly magical, that's protecting it and helps save them from Silk Road but leaves the Treasure Hunter Security people alone. I know a lot of romance books can get a little formulaic but normally it doesn't bother me. It might just be that I read these somewhat close together or maybe because they're so short and there wasn't as much time to add in more differences but they're just starting to feel a little bit the same.

When Morgan Kincaid first meets Zach James at a museum function, she is not impressed. There to test the security system as a forerunner to another assignment, they remove the star exhibit.Satisfied that they can do the job, Zach informs the team what they will be doing, providing the security for the search for a historical missing ship, lost on it's way to France at the time of Louis XIV. Pursued by the group Silk Road, danger follows, including kidnapping, several attempts to use force, all to find a powerful mystical amulet, before a mysterious group of people say that they can protect it better where no one else can find it. Another gripping story which has to be concluded in one go.

To say Morgan has built walls around her heart is a huge understatement! She is snarky, defensive and dismissive which stops most men in their tracks...only her team mates, her work family have been allowed past these walls but Zach can see through her defenses and knows her heart is worth fighting for. Can he convince Morgan to trust him with her secrets, convince her she deserves love and happiness too?Not only do they have to battle Morgan's defenses but also Silk Road who will stop at nothing to secure the treasures they seek, will they both survive to have a future together or is this one dive too many?

Book 4 follows on a few weeks later from book 3 as most of them do.finally we get a women in the teams story with Morgan meeting Zack.looks like they meet team 52 for the first time at the end of this book.(I read that series first but it's ment to follow after this series)

A great author, I always enjoy her books and this one is no exception. A good plot, she has just the right balance of romance and adventure.

I loved the opening of this book! How to pull off a jewel heist in the middle of a party with security looking on! Sounds unlikely but this is exactly what THS does at the request of Dr Zachariah James.Zach then hires them as security on an archaeological expedition to Madagascar to find a long lost shipwreck. Once again they run you of the black market antiquities thieves, Silk Road. This becomes a far more complex mission than anyone had expected. The Silk Road teams, as usual, are well prepared and not frightened to use lethal force.Morgan and Zach find themselves in a grim situation that they may not survive.Great romance and adventure with a twist.
