Q: Are these abrasion resistant? For example: Pavement slide

No, they inly have knee pads, which are not very strong. I only use them when riding short distance and on back roads 40mph max. The pants are very comfortable and stylish. I really like them and got a second pair.

Q: Would these fit over a pair of cowboy boots?

They are pretty tapered - they fit snugly over riding boots and hi top sneakers. Not sure about cowboy boots.

Q: I wear size 34(w)X34(l) what size would fit me best?
