Kava Kava Candy - Ginger 4 Packs | 32 Pieces

There are a lot of reviews on here complaining that it made their mouths numb. No offense but those people are extremely uninformed. First of all, kava is known to have that effect. It's one of the first things you learn about when you do your research. Second, it literally says on the box that it will numb your mouth lol. Now on to the review. So, if you're a kava purist, this product may not be for you. It's not as strong as traditional kava, but I will say though, it is waaaay more convenient than traditional kava. The whole brewing process of traditional kava is kind of a hassle and the taste can be pretty bitter. If you want to avoid all of that but still want the effects of kava this product is perfect. I tried the ginger mint flavor, and you can taste a little bit of the kava bitterness but it's very mint forward. Personally, I don't even taste the ginger. The mouth numbing effects only last for a few minutes. I'd say 10-15 minutes tops. I actually kinda like the numbing effect lol. I treat this product like a medicine similar to a cough drop. You don't really use cough drops as a candy. You use it for the relief it provides. With that in mind, the flavor is pretty good. In terms of how it made me feel, it has a very tangible calming effect. I use it as an alternative to alcohol and marijuana. Those substances are too intoxicating and have hangovers. With this, you're still sober but it really takes the edge off and makes being sober after a stressful day more tolerable. All in all, I was very impressed with this product. I went in a little skeptical because I've tried other kava extract products and none of them were as effective as this one. I will absolutely continue to buy this product.

The kava kava candies work well for relaxation. Don’t expect your typical candy flavor (kava usually has a muddy/earthy taste, but they did a good job masking the flavor). I use these kinda like nic lozenges and put them in between my teeth and gums so they take a little longer to dissolve (but possibly more effective this way?). Personally, I’d prefer a candy with real sugars instead of sugar alcohols (sorbitol, stevia, xylitol) but that may hinder the absorption… but not a dealbreaker. Overall, this is a great deal, 8 candies in each packet, and they work. There’s more and more kava products on the market these days, and some don’t work as well, or are like $10+ per serving. Plus you can take them on the go in your purse or pocket! I will be buying more. Highly recommend!

While I went into this thing, hoping that I would catch a little buzz off of this I’m here to say that with a very unique flavor and I mean it’s good for someone who’s never tried it before and a very distinctive mouth numbing sensation. Do not get very many hints of any sort of psychoactive head change, obviously nobody here. I will give it some more time. The first two I have eaten have dissolved already and I’m onto my third. I don’t know what you call these but they are interesting.

This application is a thousand times better than any kava dirt tea! I bought the ginger and wasn’t disappointed because there’s just a hint of the traditional kava taste. If you’ve had it before then you know what I mean :) I let it dissolve under my tongue and it takes about 10 minutes. If you chew it then your mouth will go numb. So funny. It kicks in pretty quick especially if you add nicotine to the mix. That’s my after work routine. It makes me feel light and relaxed but not high or drunk like thc or alcohol. It’s worth trying, but research what kava is because it’s an interesting story on the origins and use cases.

This candy definitely numbs, and it tastes great. There's no weird aftertaste or woody taste to these. The effect is quite mild though, but it does have a light relaxing effect.

If you’re sensitive to ANY artificial sweeteners - beware. This product has all of them (photo included). And being perishable, it’s non-returnable. I didn’t read the fine print closely enough so I’ll just toss in the trash. Hopefully, this information will save somebody else from wasting money.

I'm usually skeptical of anything herbal actually working, and found CBD not very effective for the price... instead I have been dealing with my stress for years by drinking heavily.. I finally decided to get sober and was having a miserable time of it and kept slipping, a friend of mine asked if I'd tried Kava. I hadn't, and after a quick Amazon search figured these candies were a small investment, not much money if they didn't work.. and to my amazement they work! I try not to use it every night but a candy or two when the urge to drink is the strongest, and it takes the edge right off without clouding my mind.. thank you for making my sobriety easier 🙏 I'll be buying more soon

So helpful! The perfect amount of chill. Kava kava should taste (frankly) kind of gross but these “candies” masked it well. I chose ginger and would highly recommend choosing this product! :)

Mimics benzodiazepines but more powerful. Great replacement therapy for alcohol. Do not replace benzos but is stronger pound for pound. Known as nature's Xanax in Pacific islands.

These things literally make you feel high. Like pretty similar to taking a couple xanex. If you are looking for an anxiety med replacement, this is it. Go easy because these are not candy. May cause memory loss. Also, do NOT use these if you are pregnant. I ordered them for my morning sickness and then realized when they arrived that I couldn't take them and Kava is not safe during pregnancy. So I gave them to my parents who suffer insomnia and some anxiety. They told me how powerful and awesome they are. I may try them when I'm done breast feeding. But again do not buy these as ginger candies for morning sickness.

I read on Kava Kava and was curious to see how it works for me. I'm satisfied! Those candies actually work. The flavour is unpleasant at first, but over time you get used to it, and I even like it now. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because you might need more than one (maybe up to 3) to really feel calm (although 1 candy can work for a small stress); so you can go through the entire box faster than you might think. Overall, good news: they are effective and very handy. I keep them with me so whenever I feel stressed out, I take 1-3 of those. I would recommend.
