Proper placement
I love this product because it allows me to, once again, lock my center console. After seeing a video online, where the spring was placed on the shorter, tapered end, I realized that would not work in my case. I own a 2016 f-150.

I got the wrong one.
It was made well , my mistake was I got the wrong one. The tips are opposite from this one, therefore when I was installing it, it broke and the spring fell into the only hole in the console. Other then that , it’s a great product 😂😂

Great quality, installation is a bit difficult so be careful not to break the product it’s pretty strong and sturdy. Fits perfectly.
