Unit was "second life"... refurbished?
I don't recall seeing that this was going to be a "refurbished" unit when I purchased it.This piece had been used for a long time. Visible wear.Unless I missed it, deceptive is the word that comes to mind.

Perfect little but mighty ballhead
Really like this little ballhead. I purchased it to mount on a start tracker (MSM) It's very light vs the amount it can carry.I found that once turned, the BH can can hold firmly any setup. My camera and lense are about 4.5 to 5lbs and we're held securely with it.The only Things I found with it is that there is no tensioning knob, so it your camera can flop easily if you loosen the ballhead. And the other is that the BH slightly shifts when tightening (minutely won't bother most but I have OCD).Overall it's a great value BH that should work perfect with any camera setup.

Solid hold
Good price so far it's working well. Using a Canon 35mm 5D on it and it holds well.

No ballhead is perfect, but this is the best you'll get for your money, no doubt!
Got mine and it's a perfect fit. Holds my 90D and 70-300mm lens wonderfully!
