This is greatest thing I have ever put on a bruise. I ordered this at the recommendation of my sister after a 10ft ladder and I went down together. I was covered in horrible dark bruises. I've always had bruises that seemed to come from nowhere and my bruises take forever to heal. I'm posting a gross picture to give people an idea of what this stuff was up against. The bruise on my arm was invisible about 10 days after and I didn't start using the gel until 2 days after it happened. I still had a knot and it hurt if I bumped it but you couldn't see anything. I'll spare everyone my legs.I 100% recommend! I gave some to my mom when she had a nasty bruise on her foot and she was equally amazed.I can't say much as far as pain relief goes. My injuries were pretty extreme in terms of regular bruising, there's no way a topical could have done much for it. I only wore long skirts for 2 weeks because pants were too painful, which makes how good the bruises looked after 2 weeks even more amazing. I will say I found some relief using it during the day when I had to be on my feet and the swelling was bad. It was cool and soothing. Great product! I have one my purse at all times now.

This is as close to a magical healing poultice as it gets. It's not a cure-all, it doesn't work on everything, but for the things it's good at, it's amazing. It won't work on deep injuries or pain like back pain or craps, since it's topical. It works on surface injuries like burns, scrapes, bruises, and suchlike.Use this on burns and bruises. Apply it ASAP, within minutes if possible, and it will prevent blistering from burns and prevent black-and-blue and swelling from bruises.I bruise very easily, and do a lot of cooking. In the interest of science, I have tried applying traumeel to only one side of a burn, or only one knee when both are bruised, and been amazed at the results. It cuts healing time in half or less, prevents scarring and blistering from burns (including sunburns), and relieves bruises.To work, it must be applied immediately. Then re-applied twice a day until healed, but the first application is the one that does most of the work.Don't bother with the ointment. It does not work as well. I think the oil molecules block the absorption of the herbs, but I'm not a doctor. All I know is, the gel works better.Everyone should have this in their kitchen, period. I tell everyone about it.

I tore my calf muscle 13 days ago. It was sore as hell and of course swollen, bruised, you name it.Slowly, been getting better. But when I found out about this ointment....wow....I've been getting better in leaps and bounds.I went online and found a forum with martial arts enthusiasts.One guy mentioned he had the same injury as I do, and he couldn't get rid of the hard bump that was the hematoma (I had 2 big hard bumps that were not going away either)Another guy told him to get this ointment....so I went to GNC and got it (didn't know they had it here!! Better Price here at Amazon!)And wow, it got rid of pain FAST....it also got to work on dissolving the hard bump and dispersing the hematoma.I did nothing else but this ointment....about a dozen times a day.After only the first day...the bumps were not that hard anymore. By the third day, one of the bumps was gone. The other was the worst one and it's taking a little longer but there is a definite drop in swelling, its not hard anymore either.I'm THRILLED to have found this product. It's amazing and awesome and my mom has used it on her arthritis, too and it's helped as well.

It's the only Arnica gel that doesn't irritate my skin, but the quantity is very skimpy for the price.

This is effective - but not as intense as many of the other muscle gels/creams. I like it because I can put it on before I go to work and not have to worry about smelling like an old person (it has absolutely no smell at all) or having any of it rub off onto my clothing (absorbs fast and is not greasy). This definitely takes the edge off the pain without that strong cold, heat and/or stinging sensation - it just takes the edge off the pain. I can feel the line of where it was rubbed on my back and where I could no longer reach. It's clean (can't even tell you have something on) and it works much better than any oral anti-inflammatory product I've tried. Plus, it's safe to use every day.

Fantastic product! I have used this for years as an anti-inflammatory. I always have a tube in my purse...and am always giving it to friends who also have terrific results. It quickly takes my throbbing pain away and it stays away. My Mom had severe Rheumatoid arthritis and found this gave her relief. I have tried everything out there, and whether it is a prescription or OTC, this gives me the best results! I prefer the ointment/gel to the creme. The ointment/gel is clear and not greasy, more like a gel, and has a very, very, faint smell. The creme has more of a smell to me, so I use the ointment/gel.
