Flavia Alterra French Roast Coffee Freshpacks works only with Flavia Brewers, Dark Roast (Case of 100)

This order got here very quickly and was what I ordered. It is good coffee - my favorite type of Flavia coffee - strong, dark roast. I think it is nuts that I pay almost $100 bucks ( I bought 2 cases) for coffee - but I love, love, love it. I didn't even like coffee until I went to Paris one summer - then I did not find any at home that compared until I found this coffee maker and this coffee. Still is not like Paris - but it will have to do in the meantime. I also like the Foundry and the Sumatra and the Barista - would like to try the Steel Horse, but everyone is always out of it. I see that the price has gone up since I bought it. It is now 52.50 and it was under 50 when I bought it. There are lots of vendors who sell this - google it.

I've been drinking Flavia French Roast for around 10 years. No burnt flavor, full body richness, always consistently yummy. Everyone who comes over and has the French Roast asks where can they get it too and some have bought the pot just so they can have it at their home. It's just as convenient as any other "pod" coffee, just tastes the best. I also drink the Jasmine Tea and White Orange. Many other coffees, teas, cocoas but those are my favorites.

It's a very rich, flavorful coffee but not bitter at all . We used to have this at work but no longer. I buy it online now, I scissor off the top of the packet and pour it in my Keurig k-cup . One pack easily makes a 16oz very flavorful cup of coffee , my X-large cup is probably 2 normal size cups. It seems to last quite a long while in the sealed packs too . Unrefrigerated, I've had no problem several months with these. Always taste great .

Morning coffee was fine

I used to love this coffee and bought it for 20+ years. Something has happened, the coffee tastes old and smoky when it use to be dark, rich and flavorful. It’s a lot of money to spend for this quality when the coffee hasn’t expired and you can’t return it. My last 2 box orders were like this.

This is a very strong coffee so I would usually run the brew twice for a given cup. Once at max and again at min. That will fill a typical 8 oz cup right to the brim and helped tame the strength of this coffee.

It normally will take me a few weeks to get a delivery from my original vendor. I was able to get it in a couple of days from Amazon and save a little bit of money. I wasn't sure if it was going to be the same and fit our machine, but it did and every body is happy.

I used to love this particular brand & blend of coffee, but my last batch of 100 packets was not as good as I remember.
