This thing is amazing
The media could not be loaded. It does really well not getting stuck in my tiny apartment. The infrared proximity sensor really does seem to work. It's super quiet. Works on the rug. Love that it automatically turns on once in awhile (what's the point of an automatic toy if I'm gone).Plus, I always have a micro USB charger on my charging station, love that it doesn't use batteries.

Wild Toy, Very Entertaining
The media could not be loaded. The toy works great. So far my cats don’t know what to think about it and just watch it and run from it. They are entertained by it and won’t take their eye off of it until it shuts off. I did learn if you don’t physically touch the button to shut it off, when it turns off it’s just resting and will come back on later. This is to get the cats back up later to play again. My husband picked it up off our bedroom floor and placed it on a tote in the closet. When it turned on after we fell asleep, it scared us and our cats.

Proximity Sensor?
Although it works well on carpeted and wooden flooring and does the job, there are few things that the company advertises which I find difficult to believe after having it for over a month.1. Proximity sensor: it says there's a proximity sensor to help navigate but to me, it looks like it's moving randomly and doesn't adjust movement based on proximity to the wall or any objects. It will just bump into everything. When the toy is moving, the proximity sensor is pretty much pointing to the ceiling so I don't get how it's supposed to work even if the proximity sensor actually works.2. Sticks are consumable: that stick is just plastic as far as I can feel and see. Yeah, I guess you could eat a piece of plastic and nothing will happen to you but I wouldn't call it as "consumable"... With this logic, pebbles are consumable since it'll probably just pass through you...3. Movement: There's this one really annoying movement that the toy does. It spins around in a circle really fast, slapping anything around the proximity. This includes walls, your cat, cabinets, etc.4. It's a little difficult to tell if the toy is actually on or off sometimes. This is probably more personal feedback but it's annoying when you and your cat is sleeping and in the middle of the night, the toy activates and smacks everything around so I have to run to the toy to turn it off so my cat can get some sleep. (Honestly, I can probably be more observant but this happens to me a lot so i thought it's worth mentioning it).Overall, it's not a bad product. It's an automatically moving motorized cat toy that does its job. However, some of the marketing tactics are meant to fool the customers thinking it's more advanced and safer (consumable plastic sticks...) than what it actually is. If the product is advertised as how it is, then I would have gave 5 stars but because the product doesn't perform the way it's described or is missing some features, I'll give 3 stars.

Seriously, get this toy!
The media could not be loaded. My cat is obsessed with this thing. So much that we have to hide it when we charge it because she keeps picking it up by the feather and trying to drag it around. This came already charged a bit which was nice because we could test it right out of the box! The little stick with the feather attached screws into a little hole on the unit itself. I believe you can buy additional attachments so this is how you switch them out. Simple! It's only come off once, but with all the spinning, whipping, and my cat trying it kill it... I'm shocked it's only been once. Just screw it back in and good to go!What I love about this:• It's so sturdy. It's bottom heavy so it stays upright, even when it's off.• It lights up so pretty! And changes colors.• My favorite part about it is that if you leave it on, it will turn off after a while. But then, after another period of time of being off, it turns back on again! So it will keep your cat entertained and avoid them getting bored with it moving constantly. You could even leave it on when you leave the house, and it'l keep turning off and on. Don't worry - if you turn the switch off yourself, it stays off.• It doesn't get stuck. At least not for me!• I love that it spins, rolls around, whips the feather back and forth, but it also stops and stays still for moments... which is usually when my cat attacks! Check out the video and see :)• I love that it is rechargeable... no need to change batteries all the time. We've been using this every day and it's great. It hasn't run out of battery for us. We charge it every couple of days and it's been fine. Honestly with the quality of this, that price point is amazing. I've seen similar types of toys to this for $100+. I highly recommend giving this a go if you have a playful cat!The only reason I'd say this might not be for you, is if you have a really lazy chill cat that doesn't get very playful. This rolls around and will roll right into your cat. My cat LOVES it, but that's because she's a playful kitty.

My cat loves it!!
The media could not be loaded. Cats in general like to chase something that moves when partially hidden and this toy was a big hit. Also the vibrating noise gives the feel of a real animal underneath the cover.

My cat was purring while playing with it
In all fairness to other cats, no one ever told Bill Curtis that cats aren't enthusiastic (especially about things that are purchased for entertainment). He loves this! His only complaint is that he doesn't want it to shut off after 10 minutes. My only complaint is that it works best on carpet and is too fast on hardwood (we happen to have two steps down from a carpeted room to a hardwood room, and the toy keeps finding its way down to the hardwood). I hesitated about buying a cat toy at this price but it seems to be worth it.

Cat loves it, but wand broke on first use
Our russian blue cat loved it and can't stop playing with it. Problem is, the wand broke on first 10 minutes, and we don't know how to remove the broken stub from the main toy. They should have made the wand more sturdy since the cat would naturally be swatting at it a lot, and the robot toy kinda bumps and hits the floor with the wand often.

Doesn't interest
Cat not into it unfortunately. Echo other reviewers thoughts it should have options to go for longer than 10 minutes. It takes him that long to decide if it's with interacting with, then it goes off for over an hour, so that's frustrating. Very well made though. Didn't arrive with all the wands as advertised.

The machine is good but not the toy bit
My cat loves this! But the feather one broke and only the yellow ball left. Hopefully the yellow one doesn’t break soon.
