DTOM AH10 Ultimate Comfort Leather and Neoprene Ankle Holster for The Glk 26, 27, 33 Includes Calf Support Strap!

The holster seems to be a good holster and I would have kept it, if it was not for the strap that fits around the calve being way too long. It only allowed about 1/2 - 1 in of Velcro with which to grip; way too little. It needs at least a good 2 inches.

I thought I would write this review as a comparison piece. In the course of the last several years, I have gone through a couple of the Galco glove ankle holsters with the neoprene band. It and the AH10 are very similar with a few notable differences. First, the leather holster part on the Galco is a little thicker and better finished on the inside and out. The neoprene on both are similar as is the interior padding. The Galco neoprene, velcro backed flap is exactly the opposite of the AH10 as far as which side overlaps the other. The AH10 comes with an optional ankle strap which I chose not to use.Although there are these differences, the bottom line is they both feel exactly the same and function the same when worn on your ankle. The padding is the one item that wore out on my Galco long before anything else and I would suspect the AH10 will have a similar fate. For me, the biggest difference by far is the price. The AH10 costs less than half the price of the Galco!Why did I give this holster 5 stars? Good performance at a very reasonable price.

Came back here to return it, but apparently there was a 30 day return policy. It molds well to my Glock 26, has the thumb break I was looking for, and the neoprene is comfortable. The problem Is the leg strap is made for somewhat gargantuan calves. I maxed out the velcro to the end & had to add stick on velcro to get the excess to stay down, but it would only last a day. And even with that, the holster would slide down onto my ankle bone or boot top anyway. The other problem I had is that the gun was sitting too far off my leg to be an effective concealment method.

I see what others are saying about the issue of not enough velcro. The calf strap only has velcro in the area where the strap would connect if you have tree trunk calves (I weigh 260 and it still a poor fit). Therefore, the entire strap does not attach to the velcro and a good portion of it just hangs there or sticks out making it very noticeable if you are wearing a dress pant or a suit. It would have only cost them a few cents to fix this design oversight and based on the other reviews I am surprised it has not been done. I most likely will be returning this holster and going back to the one I used for the past 10 years, but was quite a bit more expensive. If you would be wearing this occasionally it may serve your purpose but I can not see putting up with this design flaw on a daily basis. Well, back to the drawing board......

Holster is comfortable, the molded leather holds my Glock 27 very nicely and securely. I have not used the calf strap, and really don't know why anyone would since the holster holds tightly to my leg without it. I also have large calves, causing the calf strap to get knocked down my leg by my pants. Good holster comparable my previous one that was probably twice the cost.

Great Workmanship, the Leather Holster is Great, the most Important Feature is the Leather Snap release, it works as it supposed to be with the Gun Hand in one quick move as the Gun is retrieved. For many year i have been looking for a Holster that has the Calf support that is also comfortable..

Had no problem with this holster until it failed me.. As an officer, I rely on products that keep me safe. After about a year of use, my firearm slipped off of the “secure” holster and was on the floor while apprehending a suspect. I nearly lost my life because of a bad product

Hollister fits the weapon great, fits my boot great, doesn't shake loose or shift around during foot pursuits, and is very comfortable when not in uniform. By far the best holster I've purchased.
