Worked as expected. Replaced the old one w this one and worked like a charm.One thing to note - on 2020 and newer the control unit maybe a Lippert part number 776367.This is a direct replacement for this part.

This Kwikee Control Assembly was easy to install (except the part of climbing under the RV and having the steps in the down position - uggh). That little nuisance was a design with the RV manufacturer so the ease of this product made up for that frustration. All in all it solved a finicky faulty step that had a mind of its own.

Easy to install. Took care of the problem. I was concerned about trying to cross the part number on the installed one to ones available to order. Went with this one, and it had the original part number on it and even had manufacturers installation guide in the box, etc. I was presently surprised and elated. The part worked great and solved my step issue. I was thinking it was the motor or gear box originally that caused my step issues and had replaced those before. The system only worked for a while when I did that.

The media could not be loaded. Worked first time. Super good quality. Little pricey but definitely worth it. I bought the aftermarket Chinese one and it was awful. Had problems left to right. Awesome controller!

This was an exact replacement for the one on my 1994 Holiday Rambler front door steps. It was very easy to fit.

The step on my motorhome

This is the exact replacement unit for my electric step. My old one would work only once in while. Took some time opening and closing the door to get the step to open and it had to be open in order to replace this unit. No alternative. Once open, I disconnected the power and swapped out the unit. 10 minute replacement time ( once I got the step open).Works great now. This is in a 2006 motorhome, so I went ahead and replaced the step motor as well.

Was actually rather easy to install. One person could do it but an extra pair of hands to hold the motor while you re bolting it back in would be useful. Wiring was identical and all went very smoothly and it works very well. I had taken most of the old stuff out which was about an hour or so (the nuts are on carriage bolts so they came off without a fight and two of us put the new unit back in taking our time in probably a bit over an hour.I went and bought stainless hardware rather than using their commercial grade (which is fine) hardware. If I do have to go back under there I don't want any hassles.
