Beautiful!
I purchased these seeds in October 2020. I started the seeds inside next to a sunny window and they took about 2 weeks to germinate. The packet recommends to plant 2 or 3 seeds per plant in case some don't take, but almost all of them did. I kept them inside till they all had about 2 sets of true leaves, then I repotted into 3 inch nursery pots outside under a partially shaded awning. Because almost all seeds had germinated, I carefully separated the roots so each one had its own pot. They stayed there until my garden was ready around May 2021. Now, about 10 months later all together, my plants are doing great and are truly beautiful!

Beautiful flowers, blooming all year round in SoCal
I'm so glad I bought these seeds for my new flower beds last spring. They not only grew quickly, but they've been in continuous bloom ever since. I'm in the San Gabriel Valley area of Los Angeles, so our temperatures are, of course, mild compared to other areas of the country. With many perennials, they appear to die off at the end of summer or fall, but then come back to life the next spring. These Osteospermum Ecklonis plants, on the other hand, did not follow that pattern. They stayed green, robust, and blooming straight through. Now that I know how well my first batch did, I've ordered some more! I have several areas in mind where these will look great. The flowers are beautiful, by the way; they're white with a lovely purple center. The foliage is very attractive, too.Mine are in full sun. I don't know how they'd do in partial shade.

My seeds arrived quickly, generous amount of seeds (well over 100) and I'd like to say 2/3 sprouted w/o usual reluctance
I can't fully attest as of yet to the similarity or even the validity of seeds to what is advertised, however, the seeds I received certainly resembled other African Daisy seeds I've encountered. Also, the viability of the seeds was wonderful, started off sowing six, have four immediate sprouts after three days under grow light hydroponic seed starting conditions. I realize most people just have dirt and water and shadows, but I was impressed as this usually is NOT the case, if you're wondering when you're ordering seeds off some shady online dealer as well as the fact these particular plants usually give me a very hard time sprouting, sometimes I've got to wait for weeks to see a seedling or two. However, I'd like to point out ......... the packaging on these states the flower is a perennial. It is NOT! African Daisies are an annual flower. They also do not grow much higher than six inches or so on average that I've encountered in their many varieties. I can't imagine this is some gigantic hybrid that reseeds itself deep below the frost line?! So, yeah ....However, the quantity of seeds is generous, and it seems they're viable and healthy so far... I suppose if you're browsing for seeds and checking reviews and kind of clueless, just know to do your plant research and take no information provided by the seller at face value.

They've been in the green house for a few weeks now. So far no progress but I'm not giving up my faith in them. I'll let you know what happens.

My husband planted these seeds. He is an avid gardener so he knows a good bit about gardening. These seeds never grew.
