Researched about these for an extended time (probably too much, as I do for everything I buy on line). I was concerned about the magnet holding on to the frame of our cart windshield... because there is an aluminum frame OVER the steel frame (limiting the devices magnetic holding capability) that holds the 'sunbrella' rain and cold weather cover (you'll see it's zipper in the photos). Hooking the steel spring clip (that it comes with) over the side of the windshield plastic solved that issue... the hook is horizontal, and the holder is vertical, but there still is plenty of holding strength. Full disclosure- I did make a safety clip out of a couple of large black wire ties... the slide on ends (cut from other zip ties) are visible in the view from the left (to the left of the windshield frame).. the big end of the ties hooked in the slots on that side of the holder (matching slots on the right visible in the other photo). Sort of like this -o------||-o (?)In addition, the remote shutter release works great for taking remote selfies or group photos!!VERY happy with this purchase... using for GPS map guidance app, here in The Villages.

Update: 6-1-22 Seller made adjustments to accommodate my "Iphone 11 plus" with case and actually sent me a newer improved model after my feedback. GREAT SELLER (Old review) Another 1/2” width adjustment would help. My IPhone 11 Pro max with a protective case measured 3.35 on my caliper. I have to force it into the rubber side grippers with it adjusted all of the way out. Another 1/2” adjustment would help Tremendously. One other suggestion to the designers would be to add more adjustment for the tilt. On a golf cart, the rail that you attach the magnetic on is at a angle already and makes the phone lean a little too much for me. The bottom support hook needs to allow for a little more thicker phones. After all, who doesn’t have a protective case on their phone. Other than that it works good on my golf cart and my tractor, but I’m concerned about those issues.

Love this product. I have an iPhone 11. The device also comes with slots to fasten Velcro strips for extra reinforcement when your golf cart hits big or unexpected bumps that can disconnect the magnet if not Velcroed down. Compared to other similar devices, this product is the best I’ve seen. I play golf 3-4 times a week and have been using the Dprofy magnetic golf cart phone holder for 2 months now.

This fits very tightly on my golf cart, the phone holder works as advertised , strong magnet securely holds my phone while I play golf, keeping my golf app data in plain view and always in reach, recommended.
