we bought this for my daughters xmas gift and she loves it and use it all the time. only comment is that the construction of wood box can be sturdier.

Whether for kids, beginners, or even experienced artists looking to expand their supply cabinet with affordable stuff, kits like this are terrific. I love them, and that includes this very giftable set.The supplies inside aren't necessarily top shelf, but it's all good enough to use and create art with, and you get a good variety for the price.I love the presentation, too. It's an attractive wood box that looks great on a shelf, with a couple of clasps, a hinged lid, and dedicated storage inside for all the items in there. This is great for keeping organized, of course, but it's also great because it just plain LOOKS good. Any kid or beginner getting this is going to be excited when they see all the possibilities inside.I like the variety. Oil pastels, watercolors, colored pencils, acrylic paint: all the basics are covered, with enough colors to bring your imagination to life. It also has a small selection of accessories you will need, such as sharpeners and a brush. (If there is a failing, it's here: this set could use more than just one so/so brush.)Again, it's all beginner level quality. If you are a serious artist you probably won't like the quality of materials, but for anyone else? It's a good bang for your buck that any kid will LOVE and even adult beginners will get some mileage out of. Very good buy for the price.

I ordered this art supplies kit for my six year old daughter to experiment with different kinds of mediums. When it arrived, I was a little surprised at the sheer amount of items that are included. It for sure has everything she needs and more. However, if there was one aspect that bugs me a little is that the quality of all of the supplies are a bit subpar for my liking. I’m not asking for name brand quality, but I can’t help feeling that these are a little too much on the cheap side. For little kids looking to mess around, I guess this wouldn’t matter much. The case quality is excellent and keeps everything organized when she’s done using her colors. Overall, I highly recommend this set for young kids. If you’re an adult beginner, I would recommend getting something a little higher in quality.

When I opened this package, I was immediately struck by the ARTENJOYFINE’s well-crafted wooden box case. The double layering of the inner wooden shelves was practical for depositing all the art supplies in a designated slot, and aesthetically, the entire design of this set and its contents were charming. Moreover, replacement art supplies can easily fit into this case and the durability of the case provided longevity.Every medium of art can be explored by my niece and nephew and the ARTENJOYFINE case ensured that their mother won’t discover pieces of this art kit all over the house. Over the years to come, this art case can follow the growth of my niece’s and nephew’s art interests and progression, as they begin to replace more sophisticated art supplies with the ones that they have outgrown in this kit.

This kit has everything you can imagine...acrylics, oils, watercolors, colored pencils, watercolor pens, oil pastels, brushes, color palette, tools, etc. It's a great kit for kids! The wooden box is nice and has everything really organized. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because it is hard to see or get to the items underneath the fold out shelves. I pried out the bottom container and put some paper underneath it so it wouldn't stick once it was put back in. This way, you can take out the bottom container when you need to use it and then put it back in (see pictures). Other than that, I think this is a great kit!!!
