my family and I vacation in Lake Tahoe every other year. There’s a place we love to go that serves thick, crispy calamari strips and the most delicious blended drinks. We wanted to replicate this treat once we returned home this year. I scoured the stores around my neighborhood and no one had strips. So I ordered them on Amazon. Skeptical of how the strips would be when they arrived, I was surprised to see the carton well packed as a makeshift cooler with a large amount of dry ice (which my kids enjoyed playing with under my supervision). The strips were still frozen solid! I prefer to deep fry the strips and feel that the cooking time is about 1 minute short of perfection. 3 minutes in the fryer and these come out golden and tender. I highly recommend them!
