SpigenThin Fit designed for Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G case cover (2021) - Shiny Green

Always used and loved spigen cases especially for the fold and flip models. This case however for the flip 3 has protruding edges meaning the fingerprint reader can not be utilised. Unfortunately a return for me on this and hope it was a defective peice and not all the cases have same issue.

Nice case, looks nice and feels nice, however as somebody else has mentioned, the edge of the caseinterferes with the fingerprint button. I managed to get it working by re-doing my fingerprints afterI had fitted the case, but it is still not 100%. Am going to remove the case and see if I can cut asliver off the edge of the case. If it ruins the case then I will bin it and buy a different make. Have used Spigen cases many times, but this model must have slipped through the net during quality control design.Update: Have now used a case from a different manufacturer and it works perfectly.

I bought this case because it looked solid, was a really nice colour and above anything else, looked from the pictures like the sides would actually come together when the phone was closed, potentially preventing too much dust getting in while the phone was in my pocket.The case is a good case as I would expect from Spigen, I've had a few of their cases for previous phones and have always been pleased. They've almost certainly prevented at least one cracked screen! This case from that perspective is no different, it's a really nice feel and it looks great. The pack comes with spare stickers as well so if you need to remove and reapply the case you can do.There are two things that I don't like about this case though:Firstly the case sides do not meet when the phone is closed despite what they appear to show in the photos that make up the Amazon listing which is a shame and somewhat misleading. (Either that or part of my case is faulty)Secondly, and more importantly, the case design around the power button means that it's much harder to sue the fingerprint reader due to the raised lip and how tightly it sits around the power button. I regularly find myself having to have a few goes to get the fingerprint reader to work which wasn't an issue before putting the case on.

Pretty poor from Spigen who up until this point have been excellent. A lazy cut-out for the fingerprint reader means its misaligned - leading to failed unlocks. Pretty standard feature for phones so Spigen dropped the ball here. No idea why its 200% more expensive than other cases. Those stickers must cost a fortune.

I looked for a cover for my new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G phone. I could not find any even from the Samsung online store. They are either (1) out of store of the colour I like (2) need to wait for 3 weeks for delivery (pre-order) (3) expansive (£34 or more ) and (4) very cheap (£7-£19) but made in China with many bad reviews.I was recommended to look for Spigen and then I found what I needed and wanted. I just received the cover today and the packaging is amazing. Very well packed with instructions. You can also check the online video on how to put the cover together) and the cover is very good quality. I like the colour too as it is not shiny at all. It is made from South Korea (the best outcome).
