Nyko Kama for Wii

I needed a quick replacement for a broken nunchuk that came with my Wii.It was close to Thanksgiving and I had a bunch of grandchildren coming to our house for the Holiday.The Nyko was the cheapest that was close to my home so I could count on it being here on time.It arrived right on schedule No problems on the shipping end.I tried it right away and was happy to find the response was as good and maybe a bit better than the original.The price was sweet and I will buy this brand in the future if I have a need for another one.

Ordered this some time back and finally opened and used it this weekend past when my best friend came to play some Wii. I chose to the use the new Nyko Wand+ and the kama combo so I could see how well they worked (and if I lost a bunch of games, I could always point at the controller, right? lol)In any case, as far as gameplay, I really couldn't tell the difference. For me, this is a WIN as I have been sorely disappointed by most 3rd party controllers - they rarely work as well as the console mfg's OEM stuff, in this case, the nintendo chuck. But I was pleasantly surprised that it worked so well.PLUS - this model nunchuck vibrates as well - so it edges out the oem chuck for that. And for the price? Can't beat it.

I've used this Nunchuck (Nyko calls it a Kama for legal reasons), but I have to honestly say that I prefer using controller over the Nintendo one. The wire is much longer than the original, so I don't have the fear of stretching/breaking the wire when performing certain actions that make you move the wand and nunchuck in separate directions (such as the horizontal spin-attack in Zelda: Skyward Sword). In addition, the C and Z buttons are bigger, making it easier to location and differentiate without have to momentarily look at the controller.The one negative I do fear is the durability of this product, as with all knock-off brand products. However, since I've just purchased and used this item only for about 6 hours of game-play, I cannot evaluate its life expectancy at this time. Well, I know that it will work well for me for more than 6 hours.

Feels better in your hand than it's official counterpart but when the cord is being bent around the Wii remote connector too much (easy to happen with different ways these things get handled) then it will have an unreliable connection and may as well be completely broken. I blame Nintendo more for it, it's an issue with the official numchuks, but it's still an issue. With these disconnecting from the Wii remotes is an unnecesary pain and might confuse your kid.

I buyed 4 of this nunchuk controllers, is very well constructed, seems resistant but dont get cheeted, 2 of the for nunchuks are not working properly, they desconected themselves, after a few hours of use, the otter 2 are working well, but for the Price is worth to run the risk, you could probaly buy almost 3 for the Price of an original. but if you want long lasting durability, buy the original

First and foremost it works and works very well. It vibrates when paired with a Nyko controller,which I do have. I got this controller for me and my boyfriend has ended up loving it more than Ninetndo's version. It is a thicker/chunkier nunchuck. Since it is thicker it is better molded for adult hands. It has grips all along the product. Also the trigger buttons are biggern adn actually are indented for your fingers to rest on them! Great for shooters! I have also hooked it with a Nintendo controller and it works.

I bought this along with the blue Nyko brand remote. I prefer this nunchuk over the Nintendo brand. The grippiness of the grey part on the underside is a nice touch, and the buttons feel better and easier to find and press. The little touch of blue on the control stick matches the blue Nyko wand nicely and really makes them look like they belong together. The cord is sturdy and of good quality. I would say that this is better than the original Nintendo nunchuk.

Didn't work well even though it was practically brand new. There were noticeable lag times between when you pushed a button and when the game would react (you actually had to push the trigger multiple times). You get what you pay for getting a knock-off I guess.
