Great Henna!
We keep coming back for these! It’s Henna and gets the job done. I buy for my Mother and she never complains about it and is always excited to receive more.

As usual great
I rely on this for a clean clear red. I add some hot water and coconut oil and my ash blonde becomes the color of a very glossy red deer

Works! But results vary depending on hair.
This is not box dye. Will make light (white/grey/blond/) hair orange but will only give dark hair a slight reddish tint. More like a red undertone.I have dark hair with a few white hairs, this will make white hairs look more like reddish highlights in a very natural way. But it will not turn my hair bright red, just give it a red undertone. My roommate has light strawberry blond hair, in his case, this did make his hair more of a coppery tone of red.In both of our cases, our hair felt smother and healthier after the application. If this is what you are looking for then the product is great! But if you are looking into going from black to red hair, or if you have very visible white roots, this might not be the product for you. Also, yes the applicacion is messy especially if you have long hair and are doing it by yourself. Where gloves!

High quality
I’ve been using henna to color my hair for over a decade, and once I found this brand, I never looked back. The powder is finely ground and easy to mix, never any sticks (which I have found occasionally with other brands). The package size is the right amount for one single use for my hair, so I don’t have to worry about storage. Henna is wonderful for both scalp and hair, and this brand always leaves my hair and scalp in fabulous condition. Highly recommended.

natural hair colorer and thickener
Tried a few hennas prior to this one and I prefer this one because it 1) smells less "earthy" than others I've tried ... less like wet grass and mud and more like green tea matcha (when dry), more like "spinachy green tea" when steeped in hot water. 2) it's a pretty smooth powder with less bits of twig and wheat-like particles and 3) at the end of the process it not only colors subtlely but it thickens my hair, gives my curls new life.I rarely follow the waiting overnight method or the long leave-in just because I forget to plan in advance and I don't always have a large block of time to spare. The product still leaves me with a nice reddish/auburn sheen and I love that it's natural ingredients.I bought an inexpensive, plastic condiment bottle and cut the spout to allow for easier distributing of the henna potion (using gloves, of course). I also add a little coconut oil to the mix to help with conditioning. Been using this product for almost two years. Happy henna-ing!

The best
Great henna for a good price. This is my 2nd time ordering it.My favorite way to use it is as a henna gloss, mixing some of the package with coconut milk and some oils. My natural hair is always so glossy and strong afterwards, and I’ve been able to retain more length.*I read a review here about it not being for natural hair, which isn’t true. It’s for all hair types and amazing for natural hair. If you don’t want it to tint your hair, ANY brand of henna might not be for you (although there are ways to get around it like using indigo to darken it, not giving it time to sit prior to use, or maybe use it as a gloss). Think about it. It’s used to make body art by coloring. On hair, it soaks in and also coats the hair over uses. Cassia is like henna but tends not to color dark hair. So, this is an issue of not understanding henna and NOT being about the product.
