Memories
I had one when I was a kid and I didn't treat it very well. I used it as a prybar, a screwdriver, a chisel, etc. and I basically ruined a classic. I saw this on Amazon and jumped at the chance to get a new one. Same as the old one, a great little fishing knife and this time, I'll maintain it and treat it with respect. I just love Case quality, it's still there after all these years when many others quit quality for international garbage. I respect the Case commitment to quality and US manufacturing.

Great for cleaning fish.
Knife came in it’s original package in great condition. Knife blade has coarse sharp edge which is best for cleaning catfish. Sometimes when cork fishing I’ve had fish nearly swallow the hook the other blade has a notch slim enough to follow the hook and with very little pressure dislodges the hook saving the fish’s life.

Great knife
My dad had this exact knife when I was growing up. I cleaned many a fish through the years. When my boys started fishing at 4-5 years old my dad gave me the knife and I cherished it. Fast forward 10 years and my youngest son who was 17 got into my gear and "borrowed" the knife. He then proceeded to lose it. I was just sick, that knife was close to 60 years old and still in great shape. When I found this I just had to have it. It's just as I remembered, a great little knife for cleaning and scaling fish. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality knife for their tackle box.

Amazon warehouse deals "inspectors"
Ok ordered from Amazon warehouse deals so I'm going to address that first. Discription said that packaging would be damaged but knife was in very good condition with no damage. That was not the case the hook sharpening stone was broken out of the knife and was just bouncing around inside the box. I don't know who "inspects" these items but they don't do a very good job. Now for the knife. After I fixed the hook sharpening stone the knife seems to be a good purchase. Sharp out of the box. I needed a new knife for my tackle box and I think this one will be a good addition

Handy to have in my fishing box
Looks good, opens so smooth, it feels like the might be bearings, but I don't think so. The last one I had was a Queen cutlery until it was stolen, A beautiful knife no matter how it was shipped.
