Crayola Washable Gel Markers, Art Supplies, 8 Count, Gift for Kids

I bought these to use on a Crayola Light Board as I no longer had the original markers. These markers work INCREDIBLY WELL!!!! They are fabulous and vibrant. I think I'm more excited than the kids! I use a moist wipe to remove the marker and a dry cloth to clean up the residual film on the board. Works like a charm!

I was hooked on coloring by some friends just after Thanksgiving.I have bought hundreds of pens, markers, colored pencils, etc since. (Some were actually Xmas gifts to other people.) Hit some great sales.I bought these Crayons gel markers with a bunch of other stuff, and set them aside.Then, when I was going to write a review about a month later, I found that only 4 out of 8 markers would work.THEN, I read the other reviews and found a lot of complaints about dried out markers.These markers were priced as an Amazon Add-On special, so I ordered another set, thinking I could get 1 full set between the 2 orders. (My mom used to call that being a glutton for punishment.)Sure enough, on the set I rec'd 1/21/16, only 2 markers were any good, and (Murphy's Law), they were the same colors as 2 of the good ones I already had. 😭Yesterday, I had a different set of markers (not Crayola brand) where the caps had split on 3 and the markers were drying out. These were almost $2 each, so I really did not want to throw them away.I put a little water in the caps, waited 24 hours and the markers are fine. Fixed the split caps with duct tape.So, I thought, why not see if I can re-hydrate the Crayola markers, then I won't have to send them all back.I poured about 1/2 teaspoon of water in the caps, put the caps on the markers and turned the markers cap ends up.I tested them all this morning, and they are fine.The take-away in this for me is: Test everything as soon as you get it.

I gifted the Crayola light board to my son for his birthday, which only came with four or five skinny markers to start.I wanted to get him more hearty FX markers with different colors and so I ordered these.Yep, they work great! They show up bright and clear on the lit up screen and erase great like the other washable markers.My two boys have been using both products like crazy and even I got into drawing with the markers (see Grinch photo).I haven’t used the markers on paper so I can’t say how they work on that, but if you have a light board I suggest it.

The darker colors worked very well on the Crayola light board. The lighter colors, however, were hard to see but they served the purpose.

I use these gel markers on a chalkboard for my special menu item at farmer’s markets. Looks great!

These markers were exactly what I was looking for to pair with the crayons whit board. Easy to use great colors and washes off perfectly.

These are great quality. They work great on the light board toy my son has. I ordered these and my package got lost. I contacted the company and they offered a refund or a replacement. They were quick to respond and sent a replacement quickly. Great customer service and a nice product.

Some of the color markers just don't work on black paper, or even work. They were new markers, but they didn't seem to expel any color, especially blue and white. I tried several types of black paper. I can't figure out if I got a bad batch or what- but I bought 2 boxes and the markers didn't see to be of a hardy nature.
