The Dog: Your Best Friend

The photos and the book size make for a nice gift for people who dote on their dogs (in this case my spouse's newly discovered relatives who dote on their dogs and whom we don't yet know well). However, the book came to us with pages that were wavy and one cover was slightly curved. Putting them under 10 massive hardcover books did the trick since we didn't have time to get another book before seeing our rels, but in other circs I would have returned it. I thought it was a random occurrence, water damage at the storage facility, but my husband pointed out that there was no odor and no signs of water marks, so it is probably something about the poor quality of the book materials themselves and how well they withstood long-term storage. So, if you like the photography, I would suggest going with something printed more recently than this book (more recent calendars,etc).
