Easy to use
It was a little challenging to inflate because it has a very sturdy air valve. You just need to firmly push the air pump nozzle into place.Loved this portable sink. Got Mom’s hair properly washed. I used an empty water jug and filled it with warm water. Mom’s hair is pretty thin so it didn’t take much water to get it washed and rinsed while she was laying in bed. Mom is 92 and can’t get around well.

Essential for Healthy Hair
Great product and easy to use! I used it for a hair detox for locs and this is good! Please make sure that you have towels underneath to prevent spills!

Basin is great! Pump will break immediately, use your own air to inflate.
Make sure to puncture a hole in the clear air pump receptacle on the bottom of the basin, once you do that you will be able to inflate. The small inflatable neck pillow air receptacle did not need a puncture. The first picture is what the pump looked like when I pulled it out of the package. The 2nd picture is what it looked like after about 20 seconds of pumping. There is nothing physical within the chamber to keep the pieces together. I did not have any super glue on hand, and the Gorilla glue that I have takes 60 minutes to 24 hours to cure, and you have to clamp the broken pieces together while curing. Arts and crafts duct tape kept sliding off. Maybe the original true duct tape would have been stronger, but I didn't have any of that. I finally taped the air chamber back together with packing tape. The chamber continued to break apart. The basin did not fill with air after several minutes of pumping. I spent roughly 30 total minutes trying to inflate to no avail. The basin would inflate with each push in and deflate when I pulled the pump out. Air escaped through the seam that forms when you connect the flexible tube to the tip of the air compressor. I took the tube off and just used the compressor and chamber, thinking that would work, but, air just kept suckjng in and out. Finally, I filled the basin with my own air, mouth, and lungs. Stick your tongue in the hole when you inhale through your nose to keep the air from flowing out. Exhale through your mouth. It's good to have good respiratory health. Inhale and exhale deeply. If you are physically fit (e.g. running, weight lifting, yogic or meditative breathing), filling it will be a breeze! Using my own air took less than two minutes to fill the basin. After all that is said and done, the basin is great! I was able to soak my hair and I got 10 years worth of gunk out of my locks!

Helpful device, but requires some practice.
This contraption is well made and ample. It functions best as a drainage mechanism; submerging a patient’s head for a shampoo is not practical if there is any limitation in range of motion of the neck.

First Impression a Good Impression (Stay Tuned)
The media could not be loaded. I’ll have to do another review, once I actually use it. I literally got it today, and pumped it up.The pump... pointless. It’ll take you 6.5 days to pump this thing by hand. The nozzle and pump don’t exactly line up, so you’ll have to hold it kind of awkwardly, while you hopefully pump the air inside.. the small head rest thing pumps easily. But the rest of it would take you a long time. So I’d suggest finding another one that doesn’t cost as much, and doesn’t have all the gadgets (that are pointless anyway). And just find a cheap air pump (or maybe you already have one). Either way, this pump works.. BUT you’ll have to take all your PTO to do it lol seriously though.

Inflatable shampoo basin
I purchased this basin for my mother thinking it would be easier to wash her hair since she is bedridden. The basin is very large when inflated which makes it difficult to handle. The plug is hard to open and close back. My mother says it hurts her neck. Don’t waste your money on this product.
