Q: What is the weight capacity? A previous answer to this question from the seller says it can hold "an adult male" but dog breeds vary.

These stairs have held my 40# dog, 20# dog, and 20# cat with no problems. My husband has sat on it and they are still in one piece. 😄

Q: Can the bottom step be on either side of the larger step? I need it to be on the other side than the picture shows.

Q: How do you get the tops on easily and make them stay? I would not want to use inside for storage if it is that hard to get on.😬

There is an indented perimeter around the inside of the step top, so it lays 'fits' onto the step blocks. It easily comes off and back on.

Q: How tall is the 3 step one?

The first step is 8” tall the over all height about 15”.
