SingStar Queen - Stand Alone - Playstation 3

For me, this has been one of the most fun Singstar games yet. It's challenging (the phrasing and harmonies) and a barrel of laughs! If you thought you could sing before, think again! I nearly cracked a rib listening to myself and some of my family trying to sing harmony on Bohemian Rhapsody and Somebody to Love. UGH!! It has some of my favorite Queen songs: Bohemian Rhapsody, Tie Your Mother Down, Killer Queen, A Kind of Magic, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Fat Bottomed Girls, and I Want to Break Free. My least favorites are also on here too, which was a little disappointing, but overall the song list is OK and all are fun to sing along to. The tracks are pretty much a good representation of the overall output of the band. I would have loved to have had more music from A Day at the Races, Queen II, A Night at the Opera, and Sheer Heart Attack, the much earlier stuff that rocked way more than stuff like "Don't Stop Me Now." Who liked that song?? Not me! One complaint that I do have is trying to figure out which harmony notes you are supposed to be hitting on some of the songs. Singstar is pretty simplistic-so it's hard to tell where you're supposed to be. Once you start singing, you could be way off! You may see a lot of "awfuls" popping up on the screen and "wanna be" ratings. As for the technical aspects of the game, it's pretty much the same set-up as the other Singstar games. I haven't tried using the mic control, so I don't have a comment about how that works. Overall-lots of fun! **Now all we need is a Led Zepplin Rock Band or Singstar game!**

Let me first start by saying that I am a singstar addict. I have all the games released so far in the US for the PS3, I imported the wireless mics from Europe, and I am considering buying other titles that have been released in Europe, but not here. With that said here is my review. The Singstar format is still the same: Online Store, Online Community, and Game play. Why fix it if it isn't broke? Queen is one of the greatest rock bands of all time with so many recognizable hits, so Singstar really has a winner with a title that has so many memorable songs. You can play alone, in a duet, or even as a group... it's tons of fun. There are of course other titles with different artists, but if you are a Queen fan, this is a must have. So, get it, and sing, sing, sing... become a SingStar!

Got this for my teenage daughter, as we have several singstar games that we've played quite a bit... she loved it and I expect at her birthday party slumber party it will come out again for a replay. The only thing I don't like is that some of the popular songs make you pick two different parts, which makes it hard if you are playing background or duet when you never really realized it was duet... but other than that it was AWESOME! Great music, even my teenage son started playing!

The game should have been rocking, but instead I was left feeling this was a nice lip-synch, but poorly executed karaoke dvd. Singstar could have made the features on this game more robust and more entertaining.

Its just another singstar game with just Queen music. For me its great im a huge fan of queen and my friends too, so we have a great time singing and yelling hahaha. The videos are not in the best hd quality.. its 16:9 anyway... that helps to fit you full hd screen but most of the time you are looking at the lyrics, not the video, soo the video quality is not THAT important this time.. JUST THIS TIME! The songs are the most famous of queen so you will have at least 7 songs you will recognize and enjoy! I havent check the DLC for it yet so i cant tell you how it is. If you like queen and you are a fan that loves singins along THIS IS THE GAME FOR YOU!. if you like to sing hard stuff its your game too!

SingStar is a great system to begin with, and our family has karaoked using SingStar for the past couple of years. One of my kids is very much a fan of Queen's music, so I got her SingStar Queen for her birthday. She was very pleased. One of the coolest aspects of any SingStar disc is how the songs get added to your online account, so whether we put in the SingStar Queen disc or the regular SingStar disc now to karaoke, all the songs from both discs are still there.

I really enjoy singing in duets with this game. The videos are amazing, the music is incredible! But I have to recognize is not easy at all to meet the acute of Freddy. This is one of the most difficult Singstars I've every played, yet the more enjoyable by far! But it is true that after the 4th time you sing it is no longer fun. I would LOVE to have the dance track for some of this songs, but they are not available yet. As a matter of fact, the only thing you can do with this Singstar is to sing, there are no dance nor guitar tracks available for any of the songs, not even on the SingStore. That's a pity, because playing with the guitar with this band would be a really challenge as well.

Großartig, Umsetzung gelungen. Macht immernoch viel Spass es zu spielen, auch wenn man so manch epischen Part nicht treffen kann^^ Songauswahl gut, Menü auch chic aber nich ganz optimal bei Ps3 aber ich n Ordnung. Disc kam tadellos an. Galileo Figaro!

Alles ok. War gebraucht und in einem top Zustand. Das Spiel an sich ist der Hammer. Für queen Fans absolut zu empfehlen.

We had great fun with this great band. The Only issue is that the video quality is not that great. Everything else ok.
