Annoying blue light
As a charger, this product is great and if it was for that alone I’d give it five stars. However it has a very bright blue light which can’t be turned off and it makes it very difficult to sleep next to. I’m sure many others like myself charge their smart watch and smart phone at the same time on their bedside. For that annoying blue light I’ve reluctantly downgraded this product to three stars.

Great charger - but why the bright blue light that can’t be switched off?
Brilliant Anket charger - as always. Charges quickly, great build quality. However the bright blue light when in use is very annoying - especially when trying to sleep. Why is this needed, and no way to turn off?

Anker. My go to brand
I have bought loads of Anker products (cables and chargers) over the last few years and I have never been disappointed. Everything I have from them is of the highest quality, always works as it should and looks great.They are not the cheapest but they are now my go-to brand. I haven’t bothered to post before because it seemed unnecessary for cables but I have been so impressed by my last few products (usb c cables, usb multi port) and this usb c charger that I thought I ought to share my experience.

Decent quality but does only delivers 20W despite being described as 40W
Anker make good quality chargers but the description for this one is a bit deceptive, it says 40W but you need to read the fine print to see it is only 20W per each usb-C port (so 40W in total... true... but you cannot use it to charge a device that needs more than 20W.) I did not need the two ports, I just needed to be able to charge my laptop which requires 40W so for me this was a waste of money.

Amazingly fast
This is simply an amazing charger - so quick to charge a device its almost unbelievable. If you're going out and realise just before that your phone is low on charge you can stick it on this for 15-20 minutes and it'll be almost full again. Yes it has a bright blue light but I don't use it anywhere this would cause an issue.
