ZIP STICKRetractable Lip Balm Holder Pink

Bought this for a relative in a nursing home along with a lanyard to keep chapstick readily available and off the floor. She hasn’t broke it yet after almost six months so I’m impressed.

My lips are SO easily burned, I've been through an endless supply of sunscreen options trying to keep my lips from the danger, not to mention extreme discomfort when they swell up if too much sun gets through. The problem has always been that the balm gets licked off and especially the lower lip right where the dry outer lip meets the inner part with saliva washing anything off, a waterproof sunscreen would be inappropriate since you don't want to be getting that into your mouth and swallowing that, and doesn't last that long anyway, but a lip balm has no staying power at all. Finally - after decades of searching and asking and trying different solutions, this simple premise has become the only thing that has worked. I clip the lip balm holder on my swimsuit shoulder strap and reach for the SPF lip balm as often as I can think about (constantly rubbing my lips together to check if they are fully coated or wearing off) re-applying incessantly, and after several all-day full sun days at the beach this year, I'm overjoyed to say I have no sign whatsoever of the burned lips (the tight, swollen, sensitive feeling the next day, followed by peeling days later). Which is a first.I use it with Zinka Clear SPF 30 lip balm because even though it's a lower spf number than some others, the texture is more firm and heavy so it's less likely to wear thin or wear off immediately, and that combined with continual reapplication, has been the salvation of my lips.I run around playing frisbee on the beach or in the park for hours at a time, as well as dipping in the ocean, constantly sipping from a water bottle and thus washing off any coating, and it was simply impractical to remember to run back to the towel often enough to reapply the lip suncreen, now I can apply the lip balm even while I'm still swimming around in the water, and any other time. The key is the accessibility and ease to keep the delicate lip coated with a relatively unstable coating, and this is it.

My kid loses everything. He’s the kind of person that runs around looking for everything he just had. He has to use expensive chapstick because of some acne medication that makes his face really dry. I attached this inside his backpack for school and it’s been weeks and he hasn’t lost the chapstick. The first chapstick he lost in less than 24 hours. Contracts well, easy to use. Saves me money in the long run because I don’t have to keep buying 8 dollar chapsticks!

I love this product, I click it into the D ring in my big work bag. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars only bc I feel like it’s overly expensive for what it is. The retractable cord feels like it could easily break if you weren’t gentle with it. Ive had it for a couple months, good so far. I love that I can always find my chapstick in my huge tote bag.

I’m a chapstick addict. As a nurse I like to keep my chapstick available at all times. This is perfect!

When people ask me what are my “must have” items for backpacking, this is basically number one on my list. Such a simple but brilliant invention. I’m a bit of a lip balm addict, and it’s so important to have your lips protected from the sun, cold, etc. I just clip this on one of the shoulder straps on my pack, and lip relief is always at my fingertips.If you’re worried about the chapstick falling out, no worries there. The lid is super secure, and I’ve never had a problem. I’ve bought these for many friends by this point, and we’ve all had great success with them.

I have a bad habit of losing my chapstick. I need it throughout the day as I work outside. Holding my Chapstick very well. Haven't had any issues with it at all.

I constantly lose my lip balms or have to spend 10 minutes digging through my purse trying to find one. I come across this product and just had to give it a try...after all, I am a smoker and have several lighter leashes and wouldn't be without them!! I received the lip balm Zip Stick quickly with Amazon Prime, placed my favorite lip balm in it and clipped it to my purse strap...I am in LOVE with this product!!!! I order several more, one to go on my keychain, one for my cigarette case, and one for my husband.....I am telling you folks, IF you are a lip balm user, you need to try this product!! It will fit many styles of lip balm/stick/salve products...you just need to get one and try your favorite with it. I have tried the standard size blistex/chapstix type tubes to the vaseline style lip salve that looks like a mini toothpaste tube.
