Love it for my floor lamp!
This is a great piece for my floor lamp as the on/off switch is broken! It does not hold a charge for much more than a few hours of use but I am able to plug mine in whenever I need it to charge. The dim settings are very nice but I do wish it could go slightly brighter.

Perfect 🥰 💞
Absolutely an excellent product for those with relatives (with dementia / alzheimer's or are older / seniors/ elderly) that turn on the light constantly or at night. Plus it's much dimmer than than one used to have and it has additional modes for even less light. It doesn't heat up so you can touch it best to my knowledge. It is a dream with the remote control cause my dad would always turn on the light and it would bother us as he refused to turn it off. Now it just mysteriously turns off much to his displeasure plus I can turn it off without doing so directly and I can still turn it on manually via the lamp if I wanted to. But since buying in January the remote/january is having some issue that may be the sensor or the battery which I have to figure out. But overall did what I needed it to.

Waste of money
I have had these bulbs for 2 years and they have not been useful in an emergency or otherwise. Even fully charged they don’t hold the charge when not in use. Using them for ambient light on a regular basis is frustrating as well because they last for less than an hour even on low. Charging is frustrating bc I have to unscrew these bulbs and then unscrew bulbs in a corded lamp to screw these into the corded lamp to charge-repeat. Do not waste your time and money.

Decent product, Horrible shipping time
Thought I'd dislike this toy, but it actually works well. It is not that awful bluish cold led light-rather it's a bit warmer. I use it in my bathroom fixture. The remote is the thing that makes it work for me. Other emergency bulbs stay on when power is out, or you have to manually turn them off at the bulb switch. This one comes on, but I can just aim the remote and turn it off to save it's battery. If you want to run it like a normal bulb without the emergency feature, then the wall switch will work like usual. However, if you want to use it as an emergency light but still have it switch on and off using the wall switch, then you will find it goes "on" (using its battery) when wall switch is 'down' and "off" when wall switch is 'up' position. It is charging when the wall switch is 'up' but doesn't give off light (you'll see a red glow button). The remote can override your wall switch.I have found that the three bulbs I am experimenting with each have a specific use in my cabin during an outage. This one is the smallest and fits more lamps. It has several ways of employment but doesn't seem too bright. The Anpress bulb needs to have a dedicated light fixture also so it can be charging, but it will not give light until the power is off or the circuit broken. When it goes on in an outage, you have to physically slide the button on the bulb to turn it off- so it is unsuitable for ceilings in my opinion. The other bulb I just received is the Smart Bulb. It turns on and off like a normal bulb at the wall, but it is a terrible blue light that is horrible unless you really need it in an emergency. However, it gives off an enormous amount of light per bulb. It also is rather cool that you can put water or spit on your finger and create a circuit that lights it up-or place it in a bit of water. The Smart bulb is HUGE. Cannot fit any fixture that has harps or cover. I use them on the outside of my house because they need to be turned on occassionally to keep charged. Or place them in an outlet you keep on all the time. LIke the Anpress, the Smart bulb can be used like a flashlight when removed from the fixture socket. I plan on keeping several charged up so that when the power goes out and the emergency bulbs expend their battery after 5 hours...then I replace them with the charged bulbs for another 5 hour run.Of the three, I would say the Magic bulb is the most functional for my needs. It also is good that one remote can work other magic bulbs so you don't have ten remotes hanging around. It isn't as bright, but the light is softer and more livable. I plan on ordering more, BUT the waiting time from order to receiving this item is absurdly long-one to two months......almost a deal breaker for me. Frankly, for the price and hassle of waiting, I would recommend getting some of the other bulbs as backup(Anpress has quick shipping), while you wait for the Magic bulb to arrive. Haven't tested the actual times of battery life. Will do a test later on to see how long each bulb can hold their power when disconnected and stored after charging. I chose bulbs that were supposed to get 4-6+ hours of battery lite time.

UPDATE Doesn’t hold a charge
1/26/24 update: the seller reached out to me, gave me some tips on the bulbs and sent a replacement set. Very nice to work with. The bulbs seem to take a very long time to recharge fully and don’t last very long once charged. To get them to last longer use them on the most dim setting which doesn’t provide that much light but it is what it is. It was nice that the company cared enough to reach out and try to fix the problem.Loved the idea of these to use in accent scones without hardwiring them in. Charged them completely before first use. They died after first use (2 days) then I’ve tried to recharge them twice now but they won’t fully charge, indicator light is still red after an entire day of charging. Waste of money honestly

Battery operated rechargeable light bulb great for outside
I absolutely LOVE these light bulbs. Expensive, yes, but totally worth it! I picked up 4 vintage brass table lamps that I have on my patio. Normally I would have pulled out all the wiring, added a large solar light placed into the socket and a lamp shade that fits around the socket. These bulbs allowed me to keep that lamp as intended. The remote works great and I’m shocked by the amount of light it puts out, I use the lowest setting. I used these in my house for about 2 weeks so that they would be charged and yes hubby complained about the lack of brightness. It’s because they throw the light more upward, but outside, it’s a different story and they are the best! I bought 2 more. If you plan to use these inside just make sure they are not to read with and are for subtle ambient light that will project more upward, or downward if used that way.

Love these bulbs
I love these bulbs, how simple it is to charge them by plugging into a lamp and the ease of knowing that you will always have a lightbulb that will not burn out

Works one time then one dies. After second charge the other one stops working. Not worth it.
I have purchased two sets of these lights. The first set worked great one time until they lost charge. I charged them both again and only one worked. I thought it was a fluke and I had had them for a few months so I bought another pair. Same thing happened. Once the charge ran out, only one would charge up. I then used the two that would still work and once those lost charge they died and will no longer turn on. Not worth the purchase. I use these as accent lighting in my house and never get to use light bc they don't last long. There is no indicator light to show if it's charging and both have stopped working in the same way. Not worth the purchase.
