I Look Like the Michelin Man! Too Big on Me
If you plan on purchasing these Frogg Toggs, make sure to order a size smaller than your normal ones, or if you're like me and are on the edge of sizes (I flip between large and XL depending on what I'm purchasing, usually leaning to XL). I ordered the XL and it's huge on me. Took it out to go fishing in the rain and got a good laugh out of my sister who said I looked like the Michelin Man because there was so much extra space in it. Yes, it's that big on me. Since I'm past the return window, I chose to give this jacket to a co-worker and will be ordering a large.Aside from looking like a hot air balloon while wearing it, the fabric of this jacket is a bit odd, almost like tyvec and has a bit of a crinkly sound to it. It's very light weight for those who plan on using it for hiking/backpacking although its bulk may be a bit of a burden. As stated, I took it out fishing in the rain not long ago and stayed completely dry. Although I find that anything claiming to be waterproof has a threshold and will eventually soak through, it survived its first test with ease. I'll be ordering the large before long and will be sure to test it out to see just how long this waterproof jacket can last in a good rainfall. For now, four stars until I get to truly test this jacket out in a good rainfall.Update: October 27, 2019Four months have passed since my above review and not long after, I bought the large which is a much better fit. It's still a bit bulky which is fine since it'll allow me to add layers underneath if I need to. The area I live was having a bit of a drought and those times when it rained, it either wasn't much, was a passing thunderstorm (I don't play well with lightning), or was overnight which didn't allow for me to test just how waterproof this jacket is.That changed today with the passing of the remnants of a tropical storm and as expected, it withstood the rain for a while but did not hold up as well as I had hoped. Within a few hours of some pretty heavy rain, the jacket began to soak through. I didn't get completely soaked but the shirt I was wearing underneath did get wet in the shoulders. Had I stayed out in the rain much longer though, I probably would have gotten pretty soggy. Unfortunate, but not unexpected. The good: This jacket can withstand a rainfall as long as it isn't prolonged or too heavy and can also serve as a windbreaker which was a blessing to me a few weeks ago while on a riding mower during a windy day. Riding that mower was chilly until I put the jacket on which helped quite a bit and kept me warm for the rest of the day. With that said, I've dropped my rating from four stars down to three. This jacket is effective when it comes to a moderate rainfall and for blocking the wind when it has a bite to it. Unfortunately, while I'm not surprised, it doesn't live up to the claim of being waterproof.

Update
Received it today. Note for sizing...I ordered XL. I have a 40 inch waist & 50 inch chest, and put it on wearing a sweatshirt (which frequently is needed in late Autumn/Winter in the Lowcountry of SC). It fits generous, but not too large. The jacket seems durable (Many rain garments seem to be made for short life span.) Assuming it keeps me dry in hurricane weather I'll be very happy.Update - not a hurricane but a heavy rain. Jeans were soaked but everything under the jacket was bone dry. I'm impressed. Bumped to 5 stars.

Sized for Bullfrogs with Long Thin Necks
Sizing -Sleeves and abdomen portions are very large, but the neck is much to small if snapped on.Hood is much too tall unless one has an extra-long, thin neck. It might be just about perfect to put over a bicycle helmet. As just an outer shell without using the hood, a person with a high BMI might find this to be a dream come true - so the size could be a good thing to some. The length is too short for the size, which makes it just feel all wrong. If the manufacturer made it more generous in length, the coat would drape better and then feel like a more useful overgarment.Fabric -Material used is crinkly, loud and generally unpleasant, especially with the hood up. I did not wear it long enough to test its durability, but it sure seems cheap for the price paid. In this day of nanotechnologies, surely there must be a better option somewhere.Overall -The fit when combined with the material make one yearn for the luxury of a black plastic garbage can liner, except that the liner would not be "breathable".The hood has no snaps at the front, and no adjustments. When stowed, the hood turns the jacket into a nice funnel for water.I had hoped for something that would be comfortable enough for a walk in nature. Each time I tried putting in on, I ended up taking it off and then grabbing a rain hat and regular jacket instead.Love the name and the idea of generally plain / unobtrusive styling.Since it is too late to return it, I might fold it up tight to put in the jack and tool area of the SUV for dire emergencies as a disposable rain jacket.Seems like the money spent on this goes more toward the cool name than the product itself.

LARGE but fantastic!
This was my second Frogg Toggs jacket I have ordered. First one finally wore out after about 4 years. They are very light weight and really keep me dry. I use them out on head boats for deep sea fishing and when I have to clear snow. Can't believe how they also cut the wind and keep you warm for how light they are. I had an xtra large which was pretty big so I went with the large which is still really large. I am 5ft 9 and weigh in around 185 so I have plenty of room...would probably even be able to drop down to a medium. They are well worth the money which is really not much to start!

Big enough for cars
About me:I'm a slender 6'1" man. I weigh 170lbs.I ordered a medium and a tripple extra large coat showed up. Tag says medium but believe me when I say, unless you have a lot to hold onto-- this medium will be sufficient.I valet, so staying dry is a necessity. With this new coat, I can easy "vip" a car under it and keep it dry.Just spent the extra and buy marmot ✅

Has pockets, looks nice
I had already bought a frogg Toggs Rain suit; which I liked a lot for the price; but the Jacket was a bit large and did not have pockets. With this one, I got Medium (even though I am normally Large to X-Large) and it fit nearly perfectly (the arms are about 1/2 inch short - but quite acceptable - AND it has pockets. The grasses and plants print is more attractive than the usual camouflage patterns as well. It looks like it will be tough enough. It is very warm (and dry), over a flannel shirt in cold, driving rain.

Better coats out there
Not the best quality. I doubt it would keep you that dry. Bit too thin
