No longer seeking 6th
More like sentimental value for the money. I am happy to announce I am no longer searching for 6th. This sprocket did the trick, I'm happy with it and through a crazy Communications error I ended up with two, purchasing them both. So I won't have to buy another one if I needed to, but if I did, I would. Good solid construction very very happy with it.

Just buy it
If you are even looking at this sprocket just buy it and thank yourself later. 02 spirit 750 here. Install was perfect, did remove 2 links from the chain for proper fitment. Interstate riding is a breezy now. No more screaming motor at 70mph. Truly feels like you add another gear to the bike.

It's good for the money in my experience
I'll start off by saying I'd recommend it and here's why I only put 4 stars because I've probably put about 600 miles on it so far so it's not much yet but I don't see signs of wear yet either, I seen another comment saying they had bad wear after like 500 miles but I'm here to tell you they had a bad chain or they didn't have it adjusted right, lol this sprocket is worth the money in my opinion I have a 17 front sprocket and the 38 rear (duh) and the chain I had to remove 2 links from, acceleration feels pretty much the same to me it's still gonna beat most cars off the line and probably to 60 mph also lol. I recommend replacing the cush drive bushings while you're changing the sprocket while you're there it's easy af and only another 20 bucks you don't have to but if your bike feels slightly clunky while shifting definitely change those your shifts will become smooth as glass and if they don't you have no business playing with stuff that has a clutch. Hope this helps ride on.Also I'll try to remember to update this in another 500 to 1000 miles or so with this warmer weather it won't be long lol

it's an awesome investment which
So far, this sprocket has definitely worked out perfectly. It fit right on, but I haven't noticed any difference in power or engine revving. Overall, it's an awesome investment which, when put on the right bike, may give it a boost. My 750 Shadow Spirit doesn't seem to notice, too bad for me

Only one star review as of right now.....I Haven’t put it on my bike yet. But I’ve read a lot of good stuff about this sprocket Dropping rpms.” That it’s like adding another gear”. But we will see it’s going on my 99 Honda shadow ace 750 . So until I get it on. an some Mileage/road time on it. I’m only giving 1 star. On All category . But it Did come as pics and description described it. I’ll update my review. In a week or 2.

JT 38t rear sprocket
I installed this 38t rear sprocket on my 2007 Honda Shadow Spirit VT750DC to replace the stock 42t in order to reduce the engine RPM at freeway speed. This rear sprocket seems to be of good quality and fit perfectly as did the JT 17t front sprocket and JT 120 link chain purchased from the same vendor.Good inexpensive rear sprocket.
