Pretty good construction for corner mitre joints. No excessive glue lines, and the grain is reasonably appealing. Perfect height at 3.1"... so many of the boxes with lids were 2-3/4" or less. Wish the price was lower or it had fewer pieces (even at a higher price).

These boxes are really well made and unlike some I’ve bought in the past don’t need alot of sanding. The lids fit tightly so if you plan on sealing with a glaze keep that in mind. They are the perfect size for small keepsakes. I enjoy creating designs for them. So far I’ve ordered two sets and will be ordering more.

I do metal embossing. The boxes I was using before aren't available anymore. A square top is better for my designs. These are perfect! Good quality!But, the top fits so snugly on the unfinished box that when I paint them the lid won't fit without being forced. I'm thinking I should sand before painting next time.

The two boxes that weren’t Already broken on arrival were perfect for their purpose disappointed in the packaging. The bottom two boxes were crushed and it snapped the lip off both lids

This is a bummer. I only needed one of these but had to buy four. The wood is cracked.
