Fun book
This is such a fun little series that my kids (7&8 years old) and I very much enjoyed together!

Entertaining!
I love listening to my child read this book. It’s funny and engaging, it had a couple words that I help him with but that’s fine. It’s helping him build a love for reading. The chapters are short but long enough to grasp their attention. We read a chapter a day something 2 chapters 🙌🏾

In this wonderful Arnie the Doughnut story
In this wonderful Arnie the Doughnut story, Arnie and his best friend, a pizza slice named Peezo, are convinced that their town has been invaded by gigantic doughnut creatures from outer spastry! These UFONUTS are flying around in flying cups and saucers and causing all kinds of fear in their little town. Along the way, Peezo meets his idol, Queenie LaTaffy, and there is the enjoyable twist you find in all of the Arnie books. These books are such fun for the whole family!

Good story - disappointed by pics though.
Fun if you like the other Arnie books - my son was disappointed that the pics inside were black and white though. Picky!

maybe a little information overload on each page.
5 yr old twin grandsons really enjoyed this book. The author is insanely quirky and the book is hilarious.

Favorite Series!
My 8 year old granddaughter was more thrilled with this book than any other birthday gifts. Arnie the Doughnut's picture has been on my fridge since the first book came out and she still loves the little guy!

Reasonable Price
I was expected to see a bigger size of the book. Also, illustrations are not colored which makes it not fun to read. Quality is fine.

Goofiness & silliness in black and white
I was slightly disappointed when we received this 126 page The Adventures of Arnie the Doughnut book. Unlike the colourful main story book that tells how Arnie ends up wit mr. Bing, this lacks colour and is printed on cheap paper. Moreover the pages are filled with different font types and cartoon-style text boxes, which makes it harder to pin down the narrative. So its is less suitable for joint reading sessions and more to be enjoyed by the young reader on his/her own. Our 7-year old doesn’t mind. Arnie the Doughnut is his favourite book character and he knows the main story book by heart. He has also developed an appetite for doughnuts. So this book was much appreciated by him and is a nice extension to the Arnie lore. So we have now also ordered the other 2 books in this series. mostly because, our son reads reasonably well, but he was not a big fan until he got his hands on the Arnie the Doughnut book, that he reads over and over again aloud.

I got this book for a friend who moved away. She's an adult but she loves doughnuts and UFOs and her best friend loves pizza so it seemed like an excellent "I miss you" gift. It's a fun book, nice and silly. Strictly exists for entertainment purposes and that's perfectly alright by us!

Not as expected
My 6 year old loves his other book and was hoping to have colors and pictures in this book, but it is more like a novel for older children so that was a bit disappointing as she has no interest to read it.
