Well described to ensure you are getting exactly what you need. Worked very well to replace my damaged headphone cable. Paid for itself within hours of the fix when kitty got the zoomies and tripped over the cable. Again. This time there was a quick disconnect.

These were quite useful: I was constructing an audio combiner, so that I could hear the audio output of two different desktop computers. This is what I used to provide an attachment point for the headphones I was using.

I bought this before looking at the reviews. When I came back to this page to check the diagram, I was worried that something would be wrong as both reviews were from people who had issues. I went ahead and tested each wire, and they all line up exactly as is shown in the diagram. I attached a video of me testing each wire individually.
