These are not 100% sun block but they do block enough for us to sit on our porch and enjoy it. We did have to cut these to fit which wasn't hard at all. And the part that holds the string, the screws are not long enough so we had to use our own to get it to stay. But other than that I'm satisfied with my purchase.

First the installation wasn't that difficult. Would have been easier with two people but I managed just fine alone. The material is pretty thin but it blocks out enough sun to feel the shade immediately. I love it for what it does and wear I live, but once I move into my home I'd be looking into a more sturdy, more featured one.

Good product. Timely delivery. Installation instructions could be much more clear. Product is advertised as Made in USA, but that isn't true. That was a disappointment.
