I love this make up sponge for foundation

The quality of the sponges are amazing. Super absorbent, easy to clean, relatively cheap considering they come in packs of 4. I do recommend changing your sponges every 1-2 weeks to prevent buildup depending on how often you use it.

I have been looking for a big beauty blender for easy make up appliance, and this is great!

SO, I bought this sponge and on my first review I wrote that it was too hard even after getting it wet. The sponge actually got softer after a couple of washes. Try submerging it in warm water. Take in to consideration the size of the sponge; you'll see that its mass is going to be denser when is soaked. Is not sponge as soft as a beauty blender, but it still is soft. My only complaint is that it is a bit of a pain to clean, but F it! I like it and it cuts my foundation routine in half.

I have been using beauty blenders for years and years. I like them but I have noticed over time that the quality has come down - after only a month of use they start leaving little specks of foam on my face - i.e. breaking down way too soon. Given that a great makeup brush costs between $15 and $40 and last me for over a decade, I have a hard time paying $20 for a sponge that can't last a month.So I looked into dupes and most of the influencers led me right here to this product.Imagine my surprise when I unpacked it. It is HUGE!See the photos next to the Hourglass double ended ball brush. That ball end is huge on my face so I only use it for bronzer. the pointed tip I use on the rest of my face.This sponge is way too big to use with any precision on a face. I understand that it is listed as for Face and Body but unless you have a huge face there is no way you're avoiding getting product on your hairline, eyebrows, lashes, etc.OK so I used it once for foundation. I DO LIKE the application texture. I think it applies better than the BB to be honest so if it wasn't so big maybe I'd like it more.Then came cleaning. I couldn't get the makeup to come out of it. So I wonder what kind of germs are hanging out in there over time?Also noticed that it tore a bit from one use and one wash. See the photo. I didn't treat it harshly. I didn't wring it out. I didn't try to cut it. I did wash it with some coconut oil liquid soap under running water.Overall: I don't recommend this for the face. Body: maybe. But watch out for the cleanup and be careful as it seems just as much if not more delicate than a BB.

my base hasn't looked better, since the sponge is so big i finsh my makeup so quick. It looks a bit ridiculous next to my face since when it's wet, it becomes half the size of my face but it does its job. 10/10
