Bought for myself and so glad. Didn't cost me hugely, but benefits are huge. Smooths beautifully, heats up in seconds, ergonomically fits my hands and maneuvers from straight to curls, well.

This is better than I thought. It was marked down so it was a very good buy.

The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I have trouble using it to put a wave in the hair framing my face, and it's supposed to be for curling as well as straightening.It heats up quickly -- and possibly gets hotter than the temperature displayed as it stays on. It comes with one glove, which after the first use I figured out was for the hand not holding the flatiron because the hair itself gets so hot to the touch!It is a little large for traveling, particularly by air since baggage allowances these days are so small.**For the price, I think it's an excellent deal!**I like mine a lot and would buy it again.I wish I could give it 4.5 stars, but I think 5 stars is really for the absolutely perfect stuff. But this has definitely been very good so far!

Simply bought this because it’s purple and it goes with my vanity set up. It does straighten hair… but I wasn’t impressed with the outcome.
