Used on a Undercover top on a 2003 dodge ram, perfect fit.

These were a breeze to install as they were the exact length as my old set of strutt's. Unfortunately, that is all the good I can say. After I installed them, I opened up the cover all the way, leaned over my tail gate, when out of nowhere, I was struck on the top of my head with my face then striking the bottom of the truck bed. After I regained my senses and checked to make sure there was no blood on my face or the back of my head, I inspected the struts. They were still attached, but once they are opened all the way for at least 15 seconds, the slightest movement of the truck causes the cover to come down. The weight of the cover is less than 80lbs and these are rated for 90lbs (2 x 45lbs). Not sure if those numbers are inflated or if I got a bad set, but either way I am returning them and will be looking for another set. I can only imagine the damage that would have been done if a child's arm would have been hanging over the bed of the truck.

This a some kinda junk. I can to take the ends off my old shocks and make them fit to these. I had to do this because where you slide a flat head screwdriver to lift the metal tab to install the shocks was so cheaply made they would not lift. One side moved a little but it slide the other side of the metal C clip around to cover the mounting hole. Never buy these, especially it you them to simply work!!!

We bought these hydraulics for an outdoor tv cover. They were too strong. We couldn’t get them to release when pulling down on them to close cover. Had to get a vice to budge them.Didn’t come with directions, but it may be user error as this may have been the wrong type of hydraulic for job
