Very good lights.
These lights were easy to install. I have very little experience with wiring lights and the KC set up was great. These are not the brightest lights, but they do very well for halogen lights. Recommend getting a set as additional lights for trail riding or other off road excursions.

Great lights! Very bright!
I've only recently been learning how to (properly) wire lights and accessories to a vehicle. Given my experience level and the two modifications I made, I think anyone could figure this out. Comes with harness and diagram. There are plenty of Youtube videos to reference as well.I prefer the feel and durability of a standard toggle switch. I also don't care about having the button light up. So I used that instead of the switch that came with it. I just took out one of the four plastic pieces that reserve space for future rocker switches or rear defrost and wiper buttons and drilled a hole directly in the middle of it. There was some very thin plastic on the inside that I had to cut out with pliers and wire cutters. It made no difference to the structural integrity of said plastic piece. I used a 3M 3/8" toggle switch (20 amp) that can be found at some Walmarts. The switch fit perfectly. The second mod I made was moving the connector for each light. The connectors are only around 5 or 6 inches from the lights which means if you use them as windshield lights like I have, they stand out. The connection is sealed well from the weather but I thought it looked tacky. So I cut between the light and connector and added enough wire to hide the connectors under the hood (for each light). Then for the outside wire I couldn't hide, I used Flexible Polyethylene Wire Loom to give them a more professional look and to help protect them from the elements (see pics).Installation is pretty straight forward. Next, I plan to replace my stock fog lights with 6" Hilites. I'm very satisfied. It would be convenient if the wires connected directly into the light but then again it leaves a little room for some customization.

Lovin' my KCs!
I debated on the 5" or 6" lights for my 75th JK, but went with the 5" to leave room for a winch. Installation was easy, but I took my time to make sure everything was neat and clean. Having said that, I did also purchase the Rough Country MLC-6 switch pod on Amazon, which meant I didn't have to use the full wiring harness. Highly recommend buying it, especially if you'll have multiple lights/accessories. I won't go into a review of the switch pod, as I've already done it on that page. For the lights, I did cover all wiring in plastic loom to make it look cleaner and add protection. The wires running from the bumper to lights are visible, so the loom gave it a much more professional look. I attached the lights to the bottom of my RealWheels pre-runner bar (also purchased on Amazon at the same time) and it was easy to remove the rock guards and turn them upside down. Just be careful not to drop the lens!We had a chance to use these in a recent snow and they performed great. These lights look great and I love the KC logoed rock guards in white! Only time will tell how they hold up, but I'll update my review if something changes. Planning to purchase more for the pillar and would definitely recommend as an easy and inexpensive way to accessorize your Jeep or truck!

Excellent for A-Pilar and Bull Bar, Work Great, Look Good
I placed the 5" spot beam at the a-pilar and 5" fog beam at the bull bar. The wiring is fairly simple minus the "running wire" part. All light sets come with harnesses, relays, switches. You can even have your set-up running two sets of lights (4 lights total) to one switch. See the KC website. That is what I did for the top 4 lights (see photo). I connected all lights to a auxiliary fuse box so I did not have to deal with the additional relays and finding a location under the JK hood. For switches, I am running Daystar switches and using the Daystar panel. Granted, these lights are not the brightest on the market like some LEDs, but they are more than bright enough for me due to my overall set up. I wanted to get away from LEDs seeking the traditional look of the round KC lights as opposed to cube and light bars I am also running KC headlights. So in terms of look in addition to functionality, I am very much satisfied with all my KC lights including these 5" Apollo lights.

Classic look
The main reason we went for these is the company’s reputation for producing a sturdy, quality product. But honestly a big selling point was we wanted the classic Jeep look that the iconic brand provides. We’re satisfied customers, but there are a couple things potential buyers should be aware of. First, the wires coming out of the lamps are absurdly too short. That makes the otherwise straight forward installation a drag. The second disappointment was the light output. It’s adequate, but not spectacular. They put out enough warm light, but if you’re wanting to turn the night into day, then you should go with something else.I wish that KC would have put 25 cents worth of wire coming out of the back of the lights, but overall I’m happy with the purchase and would buy them again.

Great set of lights.
KC is a known company when it comes to extra lighting on vehicles. They have been around for a while so I felt comfortable purchasing these lights and I'm glad I did.The "Appollo" series has all plastic mounting hardware, so if you're looking for something stronger, then look for another KC Series. But if you want something relatively cheap but still sturdy then these are good.PROS: The kit is actually a complete kit. Everything reached the battery and the wiring was long enough to reach where I wanted to install the switch. The instructions were decent and mounting everything was no problem. I'm happy with the output of the lights, they make a big difference. I like the all-plastic mounting because I wanted everything black.CONS: Can't think of anything. I am happy with this purchase. Be careful if you try to adjust them after they have been on for a while, they get HOT!OVERALL: This is a good set of decent lights for a decent price. I plan on buying another pair of this series for a different location on my Jeep. I would recommend these lights.

Look good on push bar
Nice product except I will black out the large letters KC that are done in white. That part takes away from the lights.

Great Lights for a Beginner
Great lights, easy to set up and came with everything i need to install. 55W isn't as bright as the other lights available, but just fine for a fog light. The bracket they came with installed easy enough but the flat bracket might be a problem depending on where you choose to install them (on a bullbar or lightbar for example. Its secure but wont be very "flush".).Follow the instructions to aim them for the best results.

Well worth the money
Work great. Didnt know they came with all the wiring and switches and fuses you would need to hookup so that was a bonus

Awesome lights!
Replaced bumpers on my JK and needed new fog lights. Thought I would try these since they're the same watts as the factory fog lights. WOW wasn't disappointed, nice low beam for about 500 feet and about 30% wider beam than the factory lights! Great for the trails at night! KC kit comes with everything you need to wire these lights up, and I mean everything! Nice! Quick shipping from Amazon!
