4 years of pain finally completely gone!
Service Plumber here! I'm Constantly in weird positions and lifting heavy things and 4 years ago I was in a position using a drain snake for over 45 minutes which made a muscle near, I'm guessing, Lumbar 5 near my tailbone, base of the spine sore. Then, I went to lift a 150 pound toilet and immediately felt something pull that muscle and caused me to be hunch backed for 5 straight days. They sent me to Chiropractor and it helped minimally but the pain lingered forever, I realize now that I wasn't healing because of my bad posture while driving and I pulled the muscle for a second time a year later which caused me to have to be off for at least 3 days and this time they sent me to workers comp doctors who just prescribe muscle relaxers and sent me on my way.Another year goes by and I finally hurt my back to an alarming extent. I was out for 10 days of work and couldn't even walk most of those days. The pain was unbearable, whereas the other times I just couldn't stand straight up and was hunched over. This time, I had to have my wife lift my legs and stuff pillows under them to sleep and coughing was terrifyingly painful since I also had a cold. I had to wheel myself around the house and couldn't even get into the car to go to the doctor. Finally, I healed enough to go to the doctor again just for them to prescribe Ibuprophen and say to rest and use ice packs and crap. I've been dealing with that pain from the last time I hurt it for over a year now and someone mentioned trying to use "traction" stretches and stuff to allow the muscle to heal. I started seeing immediate results in those types of stretches and I found the "sit and decompress" after googling " Traction devices".After three sessions ( three days three minutes a piece) I have ABSOLUTELY ZERO pain at all. It's completely stretched that part of my back and I admit, the first couple of times it was hard and painful to use, my back feels 100% healed! So grateful for this device. I will continue to do it to add therapy to my worn back.I found the straps uncomfortable to use but bearable when you put a hoody on AND a large coat to cushion the stress that it's going to put on your chest. But it's a small price to pay for a healed back!!! Thank you!

Female Carpenter Review
I’m a carpenter apprentice working in concrete. I go to the chiropractor regularly (once a month) and recently learned I had a bulging disc. My doc showed me a stretch I could do to aid this ailment but it wasn’t cutting it. I wear a harness most of the day with tool bags weighing approx 20-50lbs. The numbness / major discomfort I’d been experiencing in the front outside ball of my right foot (I was told was the product of my bulging disc) became a daily thing. So I researched inversion tables but didn’t want to impede my closet space. And then I found this apparatus. I already had the pull-up bar so it seemed a no-brainer.1 week and a half later and I’m singing the braces praises to all of my coworkers. I use it daily, sometime twice because I crave the natural relief. We stretch every morning before work as a crew and I’ve noticed I’m moving with much greater ease. My lower back (near my tailbone) is no longer making me feel old. Prior to the use of the brace I couldn’t roll up from a lay down position (similar to doing a sit up). Instead I’d have to roll on my side then use my arms to prop up my body. Seriously, at 34, I shouldn’t be ready for life alert commercial moves. I’m also no longer dying to take off my bags like I had been. Yes they’re heavy but my body is again feeling up to the challenge.I don’t know if my disc is still bulging as the pain in my foot has yet to subside (although it seems to have decreased), but I will continue to use daily and perhaps increase the length of time in which I use it.I’m 5’6”, approx 140lbs and ordered a small. It’s been the right fit. I will say as a female it would be amazing if the straps didn’t fall right over my boobs. It is straight uncomfortable and def not made with a woman’s shape in mind, but the relief it gives me has to outweigh the discomfort I feel when I’m sitting / hanging in it.If they make a women’s version, I’d be really stoked on this. There are also not any arm loops to hang my arms as indicated in the instructional videos, but I don’t find that that harms the experience. I do think it would make it more comfortable however.I didn’t find it a challenge to assemble as other reviewers seemed to but I do agree, that the brace in the video is a nicer version / prototype vs what you receive as the customer. It’s bare bones. But it seems to be helping, so put down the pain pills and try a safer remedy to give you relief.

It works
If you have back problems, specially lower back, you need this. You have to make it work tough, like I did. I have older skin, so it has a tendency to slide up. So I use it naked. I spray the belt a little.. And it doesn't slide. However because I have old skin, this is not enough. I put on the Sit&Decompress while standing on a little bench. Then when the belt is on, I get off the bench. I still slide a little but it ends up at the right place. I am 71 years old. Thank goodness I found this product.

AMAZING!
I wanted to use this for awhile prior to commenting. I have had back issues for the past 18 years or so. A few times a year I walked around like an old prospector with my torso hunched over and my lower back tight and strained. Within the first minute of going into the neutral stance, I heard a crack in my middle back in behind the xiphoid process region of my spine(thoracic region also something that I was not expecting). By two minutes I felt my gluteous maximus muscle release. The strained lower back muscles released the tension that I have felt for the past 3 weeks, something that the Chiropractor was not able to cure from two sessions. I used it for 4 days before traveling on a plane on holidays. I was seriously worried about being on a long flight of 12 hours, but my whole vacation was pain free! I came home pain free from two weeks of lazing around. No pain. I feel better then I have in 18 years and this is the truth. I opted for the Sit and Decompress over the Inversion table because of 3 factors 1) I have used the inversion table in the past and I didn't like the feeling of being upside down 2) The inversion table is big and takes up a lot of room 3) its way more moneyI never got the results from the inversion table that I did from this. I have to be honest, I was desperate when I was looking online for an inversion table and I saw this. I was tired of the pain and discomfort of my back pain. I am happy that I bought this and want to be a distributor!

Two Stars
Nice idea but doesn't work so well for women. It's also hard on the armpits so use some padding.
