Don't buy these (Update -company is redesigning lights)
These lights recommended by amazon put out a large amount of RF exceeding FCC standards. I took them apart and there was no attempt to protect them from making a ton on radio/tv noise. The noise can get into anything. There are much better brands to buy that aren't as cheaply made as these lights are...or as noisy. I've written maybe three bad reviews in my life but this one certainly deserves one.Update, After I wrote my review I was contacted by the company and they said they are redesigning the light to meet FCC requirements. I found this a great step forward and I will rereview when I get the lights. The fact that the company was so responsive was very positive.

Bright and sharp looking recessed lighting
I was looking for recessed lighting for our kitchen and dining area. The criteria: LED, daylight color, flush mount, and easy installation. After researching many options, including everything offered at local hardware and lighting stores, I settled on this 12-pack because it met the criteria at the best overall value.When I got the lights, all items arrived in good condition. I tested each of the lights and found them to be consistent in brightness, output, and color temperature.The install went well, although it wasn't super easy--not because of the lights, but due to the nature of the install: you need to get the design and layout right, account for where beams and obstacles are located, and cut clean, circular holes in the sheet rock that are the correct size. Cutting the holes was a challenge. These lights call for a hole of 6.1 inches, for which I could not find a standard circular hole cutter for my drill. I tried a couple of adjustable attachments, but they were practically useless. I ended up using an oscillating saw with a hooked blade that worked pretty well, but I was not able to get the circles perfect, which proved to be an issue when I went to put the lights in. I had to use a box cutter to fine tune the holes when putting in the lights. The good thing was that I hadn't cut any of the holes too big.The wiring was simple and straightforward. I loved the simple way of daisy-chaining the lights--just strip the wires and plug them into the terminal blocks that are included with the power supply for each light. It was a snap and worked great.I took one star away because of the springs on the lights. They are a bit too small, very tight, and hard to manage. And the plastic clips kept coming off when I was struggling to fit the lights into the imperfect holes. I finally just gave up on trying to put the plastic clips back on and found that the lights held in just as well without them.That was the only flaw, and it is relatively insignificant because it does not affect the lights performance in any way. Overall, I am very pleased with the outcome of the project. My wife loves her bright kitchen and dining area! She is super happy, and that makes it all worthwhile :)

Superior lights that work perfectly
I am an electrician and own my own company. Whenever customers want recessed lights I usually buy commercial electric LED trims but whenever there isn’t enough room for a regular recessed light I buy these and they never fail. They’re very reliable and they look amazing everytime. I highly recommend these can lights to anyone who needs recessed lights. They’re sleek and most of the light is glass and has a one inch rim around the entire light.These lights look good wherever they are installed. I installed these lights around my home (16 pieces) around the back of my house and as of now they are all still working and not one light has “burnt” out.If anyone is looking for recessed lights these are the ones to buy.The best thing about these recessed lights is the fact that it has quick connect connectors which makes them easier to install rather then having to use wire nuts.

They're OKAY, but they flicker (UPDATED)
I first installed these (I believe 16 of them) on a few different dimmers, and they flickered. I learned that it must be a dimmer approved by the maker of these lights, so I had to trash those dimmers and get new ones. Not the end of world.The support team from the manufacturer has contacted me and helped me to figure out the problem, and has even offered to walk me through the various components of the design to help rid the system of any flickering at all.At least I know that if I were to purchase this brand again, I'd have helped if I needed it through their great support.

Great Value for the price!
The lights arrived well packaged c/w instructions and cut out template. I invested in a 4-1/8" dia. hole cutter for my drill( very quick) The installation was so easy. I selected the 750 lumen warm light version as I prefer the natural old school warm look of incandescent lights. I put 9 lights in a 20ft x 13ft room and it is plenty bright. I suggest you use a dimmer switch for tv rooms. Make sure you buy the grommets to hold and protect the wires. I was sceptical about the push in wire connectors but wow, so nice to work with. You have to use them as there is no room in the box for standard twist wire connectors. Highly recommend this product

Veery nice but not perfect!
Overall: Very satisfied!Pros: Very bright light with selectable LED coloration; fits tight to ceiling (note - foam gasket is not necessary if not installing in a damp environment); works with my existing Lutron Maestro MACL-153M dimmer; powered 11 lights; relatively easy to install* and great overall.Cons: *The box is quite small, especially if you are daisy chaining the lights as would be the case in most installations in Canada using 14GA wiring. I would suggest that the box could be 2 or 3 inches longer to accommodate the above.

let there be light
Just bought a house with halogen recessed lights in the kitchen and bathrooms. Let me tell you I did not needed to use the baseboard heaters this winter in those rooms, but it was much to warm once summer arrived. Changed all those recessed light for these new LED's and I'm very happy with it. For one it looks better, two the rooms are much better lighted than they use to be and 3 the electric bill should go down (plus the air leaks from the old light should be taken care of by the seals of these ones.)The only down I can say about them is the wiring box is really small (that's good) making it a bit hard for me to wire things with my big hands (but that might only be me).And don't forget to buy grommets since they do not come with the lights (I've been lucky and used the one from the previous lights)

Well packaged and looks like good quality and easy to install/connect.
Well packaged and looks like good quality. Easy to install/connect. Worth the extra cost, compared to 3 other sets I had to return, because the knockouts were not pre-stamped properly, and one set had the ground wires soldered to a rivet that broke off during installation. I will update my review after installation and testing (next month). But don't wait for my review, buy it if you need it, and you can always return it if you're not satisfied, right? ://
