MALOUFSLEEP TITE Quilted Mattress Pad with Soft Down Alternative Fill-Hypoallergenic, King, White

I was honestly surprised by the quality of this product given the reasonable price.I already have a waterproof mattress pad to protect the mattress, but noticed that even the higher-quality one I purchased was still noisy. The number of nights where I woke up far more sweaty than the room temperature called for increased. So I was looking for something breathable to put over the top of the waterproof protector.I priced and handled a few in a local store and came away uncertain. I popped up here to Amazon and searched, finding several in a price range I was willing to "try and see". This product had some of the better recommendations, and I'm glad I scrolled down a couple of pages to find it. It comes in a nice case and there is no noticeable chemical smell when you open it unlike many similar products. There are notes inside the package with contact information for product support.The product itself is as advertised. The skirt is 100$ elastic all around and of a nice, breathable material. It fit perfectly on top of my 9" deep full-sized mattress. It would fit a much taller mattress. The elastic is good quality, which is nice as it holds the underlying waterproof cover in place better than that cover's own elastic. The top itself is not overly padded -- which I see as a benefit given my mattress has sufficient top padding for me. But the cushioning is noticeable both by hand feel and when laying on the bed. This product will not fix an overly-hard mattress, but it does add some added softness.I've slept on it a couple of nights now and they have both been better sleeping nights than I've had in months. I'm not overly sweaty, I no longer hear (or feel) the slight squeaky sound of the waterproof cover, and the bed just plain feels more comfortable. I don't yet know how well this will hold up after multiple washings, but nothing obvious in the construction would lead me to believe that will be a problem.Very satisfied. 5 stars.

I don't like how it doesn't fit tight on my bed. It bunches up all the time under my sheets.

I use this on my roll away bed. It is not very fluffy. It fits well, though.

The Pros: Well constructed. Exceptionally deep pockets and they appear to be designed to really grip the corners of your mattress, helping to prevent shifting. The sides form a tight band so I believe it will, as promised, be dust mite resistant. For quality I'd give it an A.The Mehs: I had read many reviews of this product so I knew not to expect something thick and plush (despite the misleading claim in the product's photo that this is 'overfilled' with gelled microfiber - believe me, it isn't). I'm surprised that anything so thin could have any effect at all; surprisingly, it does provide a slight amount of cushioning, but not enough to provide much more comfort to a too-firm mattress. For comfort I'd grade this as a C.Overall, I think it's fine as a hypoallergenic mattress pad and I think it will perform well as such. I wouldn't expect a whole lot more unless you have a mattress that's just slightly too firm and would like a thin supportive yet soft layer.Update: After using this mattress pad for a couple of weeks I'm going to add a star and upgrade the comfort level to a B. While at first it doesn't seem substantial at all it does provide fairly decent padded support and I haven't woken with a sore back since using it on my too-firm mattress. I'd still like a bit more loft but so far it's been pretty good.

I like it enough that I may well order another one. A substantial pad that fits well at a great price*** And I just finally did. (Feb. 18, 2018)I hit "order again" on my original order... and did not get the same thing, although everything in the description is the same except the original had "Gel-filled" in the description. And there is a significant difference between the two pads. The originally-purchased pad is thicker, the fill is denser, and the fabric softer and more luxurious. The new one is nice, just perhaps slightly less quality. (I think I paid about the same for both.) I can understand that over three years the supplier may no longer provide the same product, but that should be clearly stated. If I hit "order again" HELLO, that means I want the SAME thing again, not a surprise substitute. Sadly, I didn't realize the extent of the difference until I washed them together. Now I can't return the newer one.This also makes me wonder about the mixed reviews over the past few years. Are orders for the same item actually being filled with different quality pads? Anybody at Amazon reading this want to make a comment? Quality excellent and fits thick mattresses and works well with adjustable bed

Good quality product.

This Is a great product. I have tried numerous ones from stores and taken them all back and this one surpasses all. The value is there and it actually fits as I have a pillow top mattress so needed one that accommodated the depth. It is also very comfortable and soft.

The mattress pad seems to be good quality. I purchased it with a 22" high air mattress, and it fits very well. I would have liked it to be thicker to provide more insulation between myself and the air bed, but not a big problem.Wash the pad before first use, as recommended, to get rid of any fluff etc. left from manufacturing.Time and future washes will show how well this mattress pad holds up. I'd recommend it.
