Natural Tables: Nature-Inspired Tablescapes for Memorable Gatherings

Having bought the authors' linens and ribbons from her company Silk and Willow, I knew that I wanted to buy this book! It's a beautiful read and looks great on my coffee table, too. Love to see how she puts her tables together for special occasions and can use her tips to elevate the everyday meal.

Whether you are looking for design inspiration or a beautiful book to add to your coffee table, this book is amazing. I'm a first year flower farmer and I heard about Shellie's book through Floret. All of her different designs are written like recipes with lists of different elements and explanations on how they pair together. When I went online to order Natural Tables I picked up some ribbon, handmade paper and a couple other items and am in love with everything I was sent. I love the idea of using dyed ribbon for weddings and special events. I live in an area where there is so much forgeable beauty and now I have a better idea on what to do when what nature is already giving us.

I was looking for inspiration for tablescapes and this book did not deliver. Unfortunately, tables look more shabby than rustic chic.

This is a near-perfect book for what it sets out to do. Stunning imagery and so much texture and beauty. It's a joy to hold in the hand.

Love gauzy fabric? Then get ready to love this book because it's everywhere. For me, though, there is just too much of it. I love table decor books with variety, and this volume has little.Yes, I expected the monochromatic settings from the title, and I was not surprised. I did not expect to see SO. MANY. PHOTOS. OF. THE. SAME. TABLE. SETTING--from the side, from above, close up, far away, with food, without food. And, then there is all the gauze. Gauze dripping off of table and onto the floor. Gauze hanging from the ceiling. Gauze napkins. So much gauze. Too much gauze; too little variety.
