Makes for happy mornings !!
I didn't know what a morning life changer this would be!! It's great that there are warnings on when to rinse, clean, change filter- because for the cost of this device would you want to destroy it due to lack of attention? So, I baby this thing like it's a Ferrari- I take about 20 min every evening to do a proper "milk clean" and wipe down. Every weekend I take apart the milk frother to make sure there isn't dried milk that would impede performance. Sigh, what one does for love...

My wife and I absolutely love this product! We use it literally every single day. Yes, it definitely requires maintenance, but the daily maintenance is quite easy, just get into a rhythm of taking care of the things you value. The cleaning tabs, filters, and in general all accessories are not cheap, but I am willing to use them to maintain the machine to work well because of how great it is. A few minor design flaws in my opinion, and a funky software bug that keeps resetting my view preference every so often. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I regret buying from Jura and will never do so again.
I fully regret buying this machine. WHEN the machine works, it’s great. Unfortunately, less than a month into owning it, it started having a constant “fill water tank” error, where it would not recognize that the water tank was full and thus refused to make any drinks. To make matters worse, Jura’s customer service is not sympathetic or empathetic in any way whatsoever, and are clearly accustomed to receiving these complaints. Jura sends me a new water tank to address the issue, but that doesn’t work. Jura then makes me pack and ship the machine to them for service, without even offering a loaner or replacement, and I had to cover the cost of packing the machine. When Jura sends it back, they make delivery signature only, so someone has to take off work and sit at home waiting for UPS, even if you’re willing to waive signature. If no one can sign for it, and it’s sent back to Jura, you will then be charged a re-shipping fee to get your machine. What kind of high-end brand charging these prices operates in such a manner? I’ll never buy another Jura item.

You are not getting what you paid for.
This machine is like 1980s cadillac - Chevy with bells and whistles. It's a clunker that you cannot clean inside and if you buy a special to Jura screwdriver and dare to open, you can get horrified to see the mold and dried crust accumulated over a few months. Jura hold their customers by the bells to offer only one service location in USA and no internal parts availability. After a few years if you are lucky it will be "cheaper " to buy a new one, but why?
