Archway Cookies, Classic Soft Oatmeal Cookies, 9.5 Oz (Pack of 9)

This rating is for the product AND the date/service. Product alone- 5 stars. Expiration date and hassle- 2 stars. These are as tasty and soft as I had remembered. I have not been able to find the Raspberry Filled variation anywhere remotely local for close to 20 years. You must watch the dates on products from Amazon. The entire case was only good for about 3.5 weeks... much too short unless you just want to live off of them. I requested a replacement case and received iced oatmeal... so I called and requested a return/replacement for those since it is not what I ordered nor a favorite of mine... also available locally so the cost was ridiculous comparatively. However they were good for several months. They told me to keep them and sent out another case of the Raspberry Filled... and told me to call back if I had any issue with the date again... I received another case with the same date- at this point only being good for just shy of 3 weeks. I gave up and took the loss/win. I have been giving them to everyone that I know that grew up with them. Running and coming close to running dates has always been an issue on Amazon, but at least they try to straighten it out. I just wish it happened less.

We haven't been able to find these wonderful "Windmill Cookies", locally in many years! The. "Windmills" popped up when I was looking for something else. They arrived today and they are so good, my hubby and I polished off one whole box. Thank goodness we bulk ordered 9 boxes. Thank you, if you are the manufacturer or distributor who is wise enough to sell old-fashioned "Almond Windmill" cookies on Amazon! They are every bit as good as they were when I fell in love with them in the early 1940s. I hope others who remember these cookies order them, too! A few were broken in transit but they still tasted great!

I totally love these cookies but when they arrive the cookies are damaged immensely. Either through the warehouse handling or shipping these cookies do not hold up. I have bought them in grocery stores and they are perfect, not so much when arriving shipped. Won't buy again here unfortunately,

Update*****Ate 2 cookies feel very sick, I’ve never felt sick from these cookies ever ever now I am extremely nauseous and vomiting so I don’t understand and I’m a worriedI love these damn cookies , I probably should not have nine boxes but you know..why not they are perfect still in date and delicious I can’t complainabout the same price as a store may be a couple cents cheaper 🤷🏻‍♀️Time to make some coffee toke up and enjoy a box or 3 😂

I have purchased several different flavors of Archway cookies. My favorite is the Iced Molasses cookies. When I saw this box of 9 packs of Molasses cookies, I thought I would give them a try. After all they were 25% off on sale, so I thought worth a try. I didn't care for the taste of them as much as the Iced Molasses cookies, the taste of molasses was not as strong to me, which I love. But they big disappointment was that I received them on the 14th of August, 2020 and the expiration date was August 29th, 2020. That is 15 days to finish off 9 boxes of cookies, not happening. I did not send them back, instead I gave them to my grandchildren who will eat a few and then the rest will go in the trash. I will not order these again with such a short expiration date.

These cookies are concentrated evil. The deep chocolate flavor, the soft texture, the sprinkling of sugar on the top. I'm warning you, don't eat them. If you try one, you'll become hopelessly hooked. Craving them, joining amazon prime so you can have a new order in two days. You'll keep the remaining boxes in the freezer to keep them fresh. Eating one or two still frozen until the remainder reach room temperature. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

My mother and I had a conversation about these cookies. We both remembered buying them in the store but hadn't seen them lately. Mom likes cookies that are soft. I found her favorite Archway Soft Iced Lemon Cookies on Amazon. They arrived on time. The only 'issue' was when she opened a box and they cookies appeared to have crumbled a bit but fresh and not stale. Thank you Archway for helping to remove the pain of not being able to be with my Mother this year for Mother's Day!

First of all, you must know whether or not you like molasses cookies, right? I do and I like the Archway Molasses cookies. They are soft, slightly chewy, not awfully sweet, no frosting, icing or glaze. I have difficulty keeping my hands out of the package. So, if you are adventurous and like molasses cookies, these might just fit the bill. I'm reviewing these cookies today in the hopes they don't accidentally land in my shopping cart....again. Go buy your own!
