Good for a few years but the cotton does shrink with washings
They are nice socks and they were comfortable for quite awhile cant complain about that but it seems that one would have to be careful about washing thru a service as they did shrink which makes sense because it is cotton. But since I had a good amount time with them and if i would have made an effort to med temp wash I would not have the problem I do.....guess the point is to to remember it is cotton

Loose fitting, thin socks perfect for my husband
These are the socks my husband has been looking for. They're on the thinner side, so not a lot of cushion in the sock but that's what he prefers. The most important part is that they're loose fitting/non-binding tops so they don't cut into his legs and affect his circulation. They loose and do not bother him at all, he forgets they're there which is actually very unusual for him. They're the perfect socks thank you so much. Will repurchase soon.

No more calf sock-marks!
I ordered these socks for my husband to try to eliminate the tight sock marks he endures on his calves. He was pleasantly surprised! The socks are very comfortable, and do not leave a tight "ring around the calf." Rather on the thin side, so hopefully they will be durable enough.

Really good socks
These, to me, are really good socks: comfortable, well-made, practical, and good-looking. The mildly elastic top keep the sock in place reasonably well without making a deep indentation in my legs, which have peripheral edema. I do have to pull up the socks occasionally, but it seems to me that if they held firmer they wouldn't be diabetic/circulatory socks.I don't know how long they'll keep their appearance and condition, but so far, so good after a number of washings. I do find they look better if i air dry them rather than machine dry them after they come out of the washing machine (cold water, gentle cycle). Hanging them up to dry is of course extra work, but the socks are worth it to me.My shoe size is 14 Narrow and size 2XL in these socks works well for me. By the numbers, this means these socks run small, but I've come across so many socks that are sized like this that I've come to think of 2XL as the norm for my shoe size.Follow-up. After wearing these socks daily for six months I like them better than ever. The socks are very nearly as good as new. My fabric care formula of washing them by machine (cold water, gentle cycle) and hanging them up to air dry seems to be working.

They were still too tight on my legs.
Fit too tight on legs.

Has an elastic top.
Did not like the elastic top. Not much difference than other socks.

Nice comfortable socks
Nice comfortable socks. Stay up and on my foot with out causing indentation on my ankles. Nothing is more annoying when socks slide down your ankle or foot when walking and you have to keep pulling them up. Not the case here. (I ordered 6 pair between 2 orders of blue and black) I deducted one star because one of the blue and black each socks started falling apart because of quality issues. This was partially expected because diabetic type socks use less strong threads than the materials used in socks that cut off circulation in the calves and lower legs. Would buy again when these wear out.
