Soft Flex-Ice Jaw Ice Pack with Extended Cold for Wisdom Teeth

This pack is GREAT. First off, no pack is going to feel good on a sore jaw or face, but that is NOT the point. The point is to be able to hold ice to your face for 20 minutes at a time and it works great for that. If it is too tight, just loosen the band.I have bad TMJ and I am using this ice pack and botox injections in the jaw muscles to relieve most of it. The ice should be as cold as you can stand it for 20 minutes at a time. No more than that. Do it for 1-3 times a day and let your jaw warm to room temperature after using before talking a lot or eating food. So far no other ice pack that I found works as good as this one for the jaw! ;-)

This was my best friend after I got all of my wisdom teeth out at once. Some people were mentioning that its too cold to put on your skin but I just put a thin tea towel between the pack and my skin and it was perfect and then when it started warming up I just removed the towel to get another burst of cold before I had to refreeze it. You can even put other gel ice packs you already own in the holder and use it while the one it came with is re-freezing. They don't fit quite as nice but they work just as well. Would highly recommend.

It helped my daughter after jaw surgery, so I gave it 4 stars. This was ok, but really it barely fit my 15 yr olds head. In fact I had to use a tissue to protect her hair from getting caught from the velcro. She has a normal sized head...so they need to make the strap longer. Also, a much better design would be for their to be separate ice packs to slide in that way you could keep a set on hand to swap out. With this design it is all one piece so you either have to buy 2 or wait until it re-freezes.

I did not realize this was NOT a gel type of insides. It was no more than like a bunch of Ice Cubes that were very hard and lumpy. Don't expect to be on your side at all. The concept is nice, just not the guts of this product. Had I known I would not have purchased. I ended up slipping my own small jell packs inside instead of theirs. It worked fine than but I should have not had to use my own packs to make this work for me. Thank god I had them to use. Would not buy this item again.

None of the ice packs last long enough but, this one lasted the longest, provided the best coverage and was the most effective for my son when he had orthognathic surgery. I had bought 2 of them and had the Ice packets to change out or double up as needed. My son stayed overnight at the hospital and I stayed with him. I located a freezer so I could take charge of keeping the ice pack fresh. I had 2 of another type that I used also but, the coverage was not the same and they did not last as long.

This is a really nice ice pack! I originally purchased this because I was going to have oral surgery, but it was post-pone. So, now I have been using it to help with my horrible migraines, and it helps a lot! The removable inserts when frozen turn stone hard like ice cubes, but once you put them inside the wrap and put them on your face/head, they melt rather quickly. I guess you get about 15 to 20 of cold relief, but the good thing is that it comes with two insert, so you can just switch them out, and your good to go! Also, the stretchable Velcro strap makes it easy to apply the amount of pressure you desire. I highly recommend this product! :)

I received this item very expeditious as shipped expedited shipping with safety [protection with priority box.The Jaw ice pack is black colored and is placed around the head with velcro and nylon combination. It has small area in the wrap which you can place the ice packets inside the wrap and it can cool your facial area. I would highly recommend this to any one that has had a surgery.and would need a assistance in getting relief.

Just had wisdom teeth surgery. Thankfully no pain...yet. I bought this ice wrap and another (plain white band). This one is really awkward to wear. It's way too big and I don't like how the inserts are essentially ice cubes. The other one I ordered is an ice pack (like a rectangular insert) gel thing that is much more comfortable. It also fits better.This one does not fit well nor do the ice cubes last long.I can't recommend this to anyone who is looking for a comfortable ice wrap.
